Tommy, there is no singer male or female anywhere on this planet that sings with so much emotion and feeling. Unlike you I am a 79year old man and she makes me cry almost everytime I hear her sing. She tears my heart out and I love her.
I‘m only in my mid-50s, but never was addicted to a singer like I‘m to her. I think it‘s more than 2 years now I had not a single day without listening to her. It‘s of course her singing, but it is on the other hand her delivery as a performer, humble and authentic and professional and private at the same time. Just every performance I feel she did it to me. That‘s incredible, like the fact that she met Dave with his video direction .. both true professional artists with a great team.
She is not afraid to show her emotions. She lays it all out.
I am a huge fan of Philippine singers this is a beautiful and emotional song and seeing morissette praying to our heavenly father 🙏 I get emotional every time I see this video or hear morissette seen this song 😭🙏 and at the end of the song you can actually see morissette crying
The tears literally just fell with this one...wow! That girl and this song...I felt that deeply.

The performance was an homage to the lyricist Freddie Santos who passed away recently. Adding even more feeling to the message.
I think what you meant is that she uses nuances tastefully and in keeping with the particular song.
It was an emotional piece, as if the song is being sung by me and I'm talking to God.
Morisette really interpreted the meaningful lyrics written by the late and well- known Director Freddie Santos (who just passed on) and arranged by Gary Valenciano (the original singer). The latter rearranged it for Morisette. What a great performance! Kudos to these amazing artists behind this soulful song!

You might want to try listening to Darren Espanto doing Chandelier and I Believe. I've known for years that he was famous but I was only able to listen to him sing for the first time just a few weeks ago. I was really shocked at how much I enjoyed watching him. I'm now a fan even though I've only seen 3 of his videos (the two songs I mentioned plus his Alladin duet with Morissette.) Now, I get what all the hype was about. 😀

She’s a great story teller with her songs. Culturally Filipinos love stories, feelings, crying, laughter. Very extreme emotions. Very extreme flavors in our food too. Life feels very intense and vivid there. Maybe you can travel to the islands (suggest the Tao Philippines expedition if you ever make it). I think her intensity and rawness might make more sense.

I love listening to our Mori but even more I love watching our Mori, a CD is ok but a DVD would be even better, to see the raw emotion when she sings is 30 to 50 % of the song, wishing they would put all of the Songs on DVD then I could watch Morissette on the big screen with surround Sound and seeing the tear fall down her beautiful face.
