- In this episode of the HVACR Distillery, Jamie takes the pressure off of pressure controls and shares a ton of tips and tricks about how they work and how they are used in HVACR systems. He covers both low pressure and high pressure controls, and what you need to be aware of for each, including safety settings, manual control, application envelopes, and superheat.

Thank you :-) Happy to see that out videos are useful world wide.
Great information thank you 😊
Thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Hi, good job and good explanation . I`ve already taken a lesson on Danfoss learning about pressure switches I`ve understand their function and variations well . it's first time i know about Discharge thermostat . well , i see it thermally protects the compressor ,but does it function as klixons do ?
Thank you for your enquiry Reda. The discharge thermostat operates in a similar manner to the klixon type bi-metallic switches in that it contains a set of contacts that will open when the temperature exceeds a certain value. This will then stop power to a control relay coil which will stop the compressor.

@@DanfossClimate thank you for replying my inquiry .
Great video information 👍❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🇵🇭🫡
Please make video tutorial for cut in and cut off and differential pressure explanation and calculation ❤🇵🇭
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll pass that along to our team.
GOOD DAY CAN I REVERSE THE PRESSURE SWITCH kP1 ( 060-1103) TO WORK WITK aIR SUCTION OR vACUME SYSTEM ...THANKS ALOT
Good day to you too, Yasser. No need to reverse anything, the 060-1103 has got a working range of -0.9 bar(g) to 7.0 bar(g) so as long as you stay within this, you can also use it for air suction/compression. If you would like to learn more about the KP pressure switch, this is a good place to start: assets.danfoss.com/documents/DOC346959186421/DOC346959186421.pdf
