I do have one but I’ve cooked meat in it so my eggs always turn brown and taste weird. I know I could order a new seal ring to fix that problem but I just haven’t ever done that.
I steam my eggs for 15 minutes. Then put them in an ice water bath til chilled maybe 10-15 minutes.Put them back in the pot with a little water and put lid on. Shake them enough to start the shells cracking. They peel very easily. Ice water bath is key. It may work if you boil them as well. Hope this helps. So sorry about your husband’s thumb. 🙏🏻🙏🏻Val C
