This encouraged me even more. I was 20 when I became legally blind and 21 when I had to be put on dialysis for stage 5 kidney failure in both kidneys. I see so many people who give up and throw in the towel. So many people not doing treatment and it’s hard. Especially with me being so young and everyone else in my clinic is so much older. It’s painful and tiring but I keep pushing. Inch by inch! God is still in the healing business, he’s helping me lose this weight to get this transplant! He’s using every me to touch others along the way! If you saw me you wouldn’t even know what I’ve dealt with. That’s because God had his hands on me. I was broken, but I came out whole! So happy Gary rung that bell.
I just went through cancer treatments myself and continued to work as well because I felt like it was just a test. I am done with my treatments but if it wasn’t for my faith I couldn’t have made it through. Praying for you

Hang in there Gary. I had four double doses of Chemo, 21 doses of radiation and 3 surgeries in 2016. Believe me when I tell you, it was rough but you keep pushing. If you stop pushing it will take you down. Radiation is no joke. I was taking a shower and wiping off my skin. I took bath's and saw my skin floating on top of the water. But God knows all about it. He brought me through this with little physical scars. It's been three years and the mental scars are still there. My heart goes out to anyone who deals with cancer. I had triple negative breast cancer. Keep smiling Gary and keep being messy.

My Daddy just passed away and was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. I have been in a downward spiral. I too was raised in the church. Since my Daddy’s passing, I have felt a disconnect with God! Angry even because my understanding of why is zero. My Daddy was/is a great kind spirit and I miss him with everything I am and could ever hope to be. God obviously felt I needed to hear this. I do know God is still on the throne and it is not my place to question his will. I took care of my Daddy in my own home and had 6 marvelous months of 1 on 1 time with my Dad. He passed in an envelope of love. Thank you guys for putting me back on the road to renewed faith! 💕 Gary keep fighting and keep walking in faith. Blessings to you!

Yeah.. I just discovered who you were and see a similar spirit in You and Rickey like ya'll from the same family or tribe. Maybe it is your comedic style. I am sure others see it too. I think you are sheer love though and it touched my spirit to see how genuine you were. I am an introvert and gay and went through a similar "experience" as you call it almost 10yrs ago and you are never the same back there after.

Just ran across this video. Gary, Thanks for sharing your story. You are a true fighter and survivor. I had colon cancer back in 2013 and did six months of chemo. I encourage everyone to get a colonoscopy. I know people complain about the prep for the colonoscopy but it saved my life.

OMG! It was meant for me to come across this video. I love Gary’s story. I had 25 days of radiation and six rounds of Chemo for breast Cancer. Yes, God is so good. A positive mind set , certainly helps with healing. Gary , you are looking amazing. Praying for continued good health for you and all that are battle Cancer and any form of illness. Yeah.. I just discovered who you were and see a similar spirit in You and Rickey like ya'll from the same family or tribe. Maybe it is your comedic style. I am sure others see it too. I think you are sheer love though and it touched my spirit to see how genuine you were. I am an introvert and gay and went through a similar "experience" as you call it almost 10yrs ago and you are never the same back there after.

Gary With Da Tea.. My mother is stage 2 breast Cancer !! She completed Chemo now on to Radiation!! She had a setback Tuesday she was hospitalized she suffered a stroke and Congestive Heart Failure!!!! But we know God is all mixed up in this and he will see us through as he has and will continue to do for you!!!! YOU HAVE cancer... cancer DOESN’T HAVE YOU!!! Blessings and prayers

Awww Gary so happy you persevered! I am a Nurse and I work in Hospice and a lot of the people I took care of had Colon Cancer and everything you are experiencing I personally seen and dealt with, with patients and Yes it's very painful!!!

Just ran across this video. Gary, Thanks for sharing your story. You are a true fighter and survivor. I had colon cancer back in 2013 and did six months of chemo. I encourage everyone to get a colonoscopy. I know people complain about the prep for the colonoscopy but it saved my life.
