See of course I don't have knowledge like him but I can ans. almost all your ques.
So 1. Yes, you have to study for entrance to get a good rank if you want central ihm
2. It's not necessary that you have read a book or not for sitting in exam for giving entrance you should pass out in 10th and 12th is enough and you can give entrance even if you are waiting for your 12th results.
3. History wagera aapko study karna hoga for entrance purpose only as in graduation they won't come as further subjects
4. Mr.Subh have instagram with username @teamhospitalitybuzz you can search and contact him there.
5.its not needed to start your preparations now as you will have to give entrance in 2022 so I suggest ki aap next year in ongoing 12th Oct. Yaa nov. Se self study shuru karoge sirf 1 hour daily then easily you will be able to give entrance and score good.
These all ans. are by me with my limited knowledge so @hospitalitybuzz if I am wrong at any place, then please correct it.

Very nice video lekin bhai shayad tu abhi thode time pehle pass out hua hai YR 17/18 mein I guess, Mein 2011 ke batch ka pass out hu from IMH SHIMLA (Kufri) itni restrictions toh college me tab nahi thi jitni tune is video me bata di kisi bhi hospitality industry mein kaam karne ke liye we should be well groomed teachers ko beard se koi dikkat nahi hoti unless dhang se na aai ho warna agar aisa hota dost toh Sanjeev Puri Sir (Lecturer at IHM Shimla) vo bhi moustache na rakhte yaad honge vo toh aur jis shayad jaha tak mujhe lag rha hai strict teacher ka naam liya shayad Priya Ma'am hongi jo housekeeping ki teacher hai aur shayad tumhare time par toh kitchen ki class Abhishek Ranjan sir lete the ye toh itni amazing faculty hai IHM Shimla shyad hi itne supportive teachers kahi milenge.
Har cheej ke good or bad hote hai you should tell all, these blog sharing is good but with truth I will be sharing your this video with my batchmates shayad sabka yahi reaction aur opinion hoga they will share their views I guess.
Baki itni achi jagah par hotel located hai humare college ka neeche girls hostel pehle padta hai ki door hote hui bhi jada door na ho.
