Sale of The Century | NBC Promo March 1988

Yep Buzzr is finally going to start airing NBC Episodes of Sale of The Century starting with July 1988 episodes (episodes never rerun by USA Network or let alone GSN)
Here's an NBC promo from March 1988 featuring The Winner's Big Money Game where contestants can win up to $100,000 in cash and prizes...yeah right
UPDATE: It looks like USA Network DID air Sale Episodes from July 1988 (albeit USA Network aired them out of order)

I hated the Winner's Bog Money game on Sale of the Century! Obviously, NBC wanted the show's producers, Reg Grundy Organization, to change the format to save on the budget. The WBMG killed SOTC more than anything.

But...they could win over $100,000 with the other two bonus rounds they had before, too...

The Car level was reached a few times (not sure how many) but _only_ won twice
the $50,000 was _only_ played for twice and _only_ won once
and (in bitter twist of irony) The Winner's Big Money Game was only won in multiple succession in Sale's final weeks of shows

I'm wondering when the WBMG on Sale premiered and when they changed the theme song, does anyone know or have an episode of Sale for when they played the first ever WBMG? If no episode, no big deal, I understand.

It premiered sometime in late December 1987 as did the revamped theme song (possibly the week after Christmas as Jay Stewart calls it the "Brand New Winners Big Money Game" on the New Year's Eve 1987 episode suggesting the wbmg and just debuted)
to my knowledge the premiere of the winners big money game does not circulate
