There is this misconception that trading SPX options are dangerous because the size or swing trading SPX options is not feasible for a small account. In part 1 of this series, I want to introduce you to how you can swing trade SPX options with limited risk using the same risk-reward principles you may already know from standard trading. It all comes down to understanding your delta and avoiding short-dated expirations. The first SPX option spread we review in this video is the OTM Calendar spread, and in part 2, we will review a Long Butterfly Spread.
@@TradingLitt I disagree. You can trade SPY, IWM spread Options with $100 if you know what you’re doing. There are other TH-camrs that teach that. Damn, take a breath. Are u under time constraint or something?
Take a breath, lol. You have a great speaking voice and I wanted to listen until the end but I couldn't keep watching b/c it sounded like one run on sentence.
Last I checked you can use it for free with limited functionality. Once you get familiar with it, I would highly recommend upgrading to the paid version of Optionstrat especially if you're trying to increase speed up your experience with spreads.
you have to keep a minimum of 25k in your account if you’re using margin and don’t want to be subject to the government’s PDT rule. the rule allows you to only have 3 trades per 5 day period.
Apologies for the “newbie” question but I can’t figure out why you short the closer expiration. I know theta outweighs losses on the farther out trade but am confused still about shorting something in the opposite direction you think it’s going to go… thank you!
Me gustan tus videos pero hablas muy rápido y me lleva mucho tiempo ver los videos ya que me toca devolverme para poder leer la traducción, te agradezco si para los próximo bajas velocidad en el dialogo y la explicación. Gracias.
Butterflies work well and and actually what I've been trading mostly. They're usually harder for newer traders to understand though, at least in my experience
Everybody is concerned about the market going down but refusing to take advantage of it. The best decision I ever made in my life was investing in the crypto market. Trust me guys, it really pays a lot of profits!

How many SYP contracts are equal to one E Mini Futures contract?
Hi! Is it possible to pledge holdings to have margin instead of having cash margin of 2k.
i have $195, is that enough for spx ? i really want it at $1000. just gotta slowly get there.
It's really hard to trade options with an account less than $2k in my opinion

Do you trade only SPX?
Probably 85% of my trades are the SPX or the SPY.
How do I know which “volume nodes” volume profile to use.

@@henriettaransom5274 thank you! I changed playback speed and that helped a lot.
nah what you should do is set it to 2x for some real fun
What are the tax advantages of trading the SPX? Did I hear that right?
i tried your qta volume, it does not display on SPX, but on other stock like tesla
lol pay attention
He just said he uses spy because they don’t let you use it with spx
SPX is a theoretical instrument.. there are no underlying shares.
Optionstrat website?? Do u have to pay for that? Can you do basic analysis for free??
Last I checked you can use it for free with limited functionality. Once you get familiar with it, I would highly recommend upgrading to the paid version of Optionstrat especially if you're trying to increase speed up your experience with spreads.
at the 10:33 is nothing but facts... thank you bro
I thought u had to have a minimum of 25,000.00 in an account?

Trading options with margin is a recipe of desaster.
Thanks for the video. Do you have discord group?

Basically ones that expire very soon are very likely to expire worthless, thus collecting the options value by shorting it
