- While under cross-examination on Tuesday, alleged getaway driver Adrian Bean asked the court for some water, stating that he is high and getting sleepy during the YSL RICO trial. Bean has been on stand for several days, claiming he "doesn't know" anything that happened in a robbery that allegedly involved rapper Young Thug.

I believe a lot of you are failing to understand why the cross examination is continuing without regard to Mr Beans constant "I don't remember" remarks. If he gets impeached from his testimony on direct; this would be a huge win in the defense.
Supreme Court ruled that if you say you don't remember it's not perjury..
he doesnt NEED to remember anything...his presence gave them the REASON to play his jail recordings and detective interviews...he was the DRIVER in a car full of YSL members who had a shootout with police after a ROBBERY and literally flew into a laundromat, barely missing a parked patrol car...that is why the defense didnt want his recordings played

@@surpriseimblack You are misunderstanding my comment. No one is speaking of whether or not he is committing perjury. The relevant issue is impeachment based on faulty or lack of testimony. If a witness is initially examined and provides testimony about a crime it provides substance to a cause. During cross examination on the opposing party it's their duty to attempt to discredit or, on a greater scale, impeach the witnesses testimony. This witness is blanket answering all questions with "I don't remember" due to drug related symptoms (he mentioned he took molly in 2013). The only viable conclusion is that his testimony is thrown out or impeached by aforementioned reasons.

I think it's obvious to everyone that he's dishonest, so his testimony is already invalid.
You cannot consent while under the influence. So his testimony could be thrown out. But I doubt the judge would allow that to happen in this case.
He is probably being honest about a lot of it since being high all the time will do that to you. Isn't it a crime to show up to court high? It ought to be.

Bean admitted to being "high" for everyone to hear, even closing his eyes during questioning. Why wasn't the jury asked to leave the courtroom while the JUDGE admonished him - why didn't the defense speak up?
