I LOVED these books and it’s one of the only series I actually own. I read it so fast and it’s also one of the only books I stumbled upon and wasn’t recommend.

I have the whole set and it's been sitting on my shelf for YEARS. You've given me little more nudge on maybe starting this sooner. I guess it's because of the way it's marketed that I'm hesitating on starting it or something, I don't really know.
INFP_Bookworm READ IT!!! I’m sry it’s my FAVORITE SERIES EVER!! I always looked at it on amazon, and was like I dunno if I want to read that... but after I read the first 3 books especially I wished I read it sooner. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but personally I LOVED IT 😂😂😂
I read the selection books last year for the first time i totally agree with you. I hope Netflix don't mess up the book too much lol. I hope the movie is good.

It’s embarrassing how much I love these books. The ending of book 3…. 😍 I reread that ending all the time. I’ve just started book 4. Jury’s still out on that one.
I love your channel so much! Everytime I need a review for a book I come here first to check if you have done it =). The selection was just like candy to me too, addictive and impossible to put down! I will for sure be rereading it now! I also wanted to recommend a book that does not get much hype on booktube but I swear it is s true gem! Its Rhapsodic by laura thalassa. It feels like A Court of Mist and Fury mixed with mermaids and rumpelstiltskin.

I'm so happy to have found a positive review of these books!! I've seen so many negative reviews criticizing the series for just being The Hunger Games except being romance-focused or because they didn't like America because they thought the way she acted was "stupid" or something (which is admittedly fair, America's thought process can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when [MILD SPOILER] she's gotten upset with Maxon over something he's done). So it really is nice to see someone have such an overwhelmingly positive view on the Selection series! The series is definitely one of my faves, though I admittedly didn't enjoy "The Heir" and "The Crown" nearly as much.
I am reading the third book now and I love the whole series so much.

I love all books except the last one the 5 one, Eadlyn is kind of annoying and selfish for me at least at first but then she becomes better but i still feel annoyed about it

Okay so this seems like a book that I’ve seen the cover of many times, but just wasn’t interested. I guess I just got that too strong YA vibe
But now since you’re fangirling, I’m curious. ‘Cause I’m all about that emotion and feels 😅 And a Netflix show? I could definitely see this kind of story doing well in that platform.
Soo I just placed it on hold, but now three people are ahead of me 🙈

And yes, America the choice is pretty freakin clear-Team Maxon! After he made that promise to her, I was totally committed! 😍 This book was just so entertaining, I can’t believe I was missing out for so long on this enjoyment 🤪

The selection process doesn't end until the last book which hooked me in but I'm sure you could if you wanted
