I have about 65 hours invested in your European rabbit area and have yet to set eyes upon a rabbit. I stay in a crouch, use scent killer. See lots of tracks and signs of them, but no rabbits. It’s the only animal I need to unlock the Azure Lodge and it’s costing me my sanity!
Ive gotten the jackrabbit and the cottontail off your videos but bot this one. I go there multiple times crouching running etc but never see any. Have anyother good spots?
Thanks I got one while waiting in the tower stand, my favorite shotgun for rabbits is B725, it's one of two shotguns that use 20G caliber, one good placed shot is enough, better than using 12G with 6 shells
@@TruScoreGaming 10 for 10 Grizzly bears today. Roosevelt forest, tree stand just south east of the cabin. Spry rabbit urine around, then get into the stand.
I've been trying for 2 days to get this, my last rabbit. I've set for up to an hour at a time in different spots, with tracks and sign all around me, but the game just isn't producing a rabbit for me. I would advise every new player to always carry a shotgun and try to get all five of these stinking rabbits first! All of the other animals and water fowl are easy.
Thanks for another helpful video! Thanks to you I know have all my weapons unlocked! Cheers and keep up the great vids. I found that you can also expand your search area of your base upto the tent just north of your location. Good Luck all and happy hunting! Remember to use your scent killer folks.
Totally shocked, about five minutes into sitting in the tree stand I got one. Got it red and almost lost it but luckily took aim and popped it before it ran.
Is anyone else having an immortal rabbit? I've shot the same rabbit 4 times and it will not die. I've rebooted the game rebooted my system nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Honestly, I'd love to see how many times the maker of this video tried to make this video until a rabbit was found and killed. After many many many hours focusing only on rabbits and trying literally everythning, it's mostly luck IMO. The pointer dog is useless, no matter what you do, the rabbits just run and the hunt's over, tracking is mostly useless (again luck)... crouching/standing seems nominally important. There's just no 'trick' to killing them. Of the 3 rabbits I've managed to kill, it's because 1.I came upon one by accident and it wasn't moving for some reason. 2. I saw one with my binoculars, approached it and again, it was frozen and I could kill it. This rarely ever happens. 99% of the time, the rabbits run at about 150 yards and are way gone and it's over no matter what you do. JMO
Crouching gives you the greatest advantage as it reduces the sound that you make. As you said the dog doesn't seem to do very much and scent elimination also doesn't seem to work as well as simply crouching. I covered that here in this video: th-cam.com/video/aVr4Vz3k-zQ/w-d-xo.html
It's weird, I tried over and over to get the brown hare and snowshoe hare, and couldn't seem to find them, but then while just hiking around, they both came to me. When I saw them I just froze and waited for them to get in range, and shot them. The jackrabbit and cottontail came to me in the tower by the small lake north of the cabin. This European rabbit is making up for the easy kills of the other 4.

I have been using the rabbit lure in Roosevelt Forest, it lures in grizzly bears instead.
That's the predator caller (its the sound of a rabbit in distress)
@@TruScoreGaming I'm using rabbit urine spray to try and lure in a rabbit, but it brings in bears instead.
ah ok, I also didn't have much luck with that either.

You have found super bunny! Just kidding, the game does strange things at times.
Do you come from the tent or the cabin
Tent
Any other tips on how to kill this animal? I run to the stand but on the way to the stand I see them run over the top of the hill and then there gone
Try to keep one spotted as you walk/crouch towards them. Keep trying and you'll eventually get it.
