I would like to see a video getting your impressions/recommendations about welding helmets. There are so many variants, features, prices and I've heard there are features recommended for Tig welding? Thank you!
Just an awesome channel. I've been using Tig for maybe 4 years, hobbyist. I use your channel to reinforce my good habits or habit confirmation. As always, great work!
Absolutely love your videos. I really enjoy how you break down problem areas so people know what areas they need to work on instead of drilling in the old do it this way because I said so technique. Plus you making the learning process excitable. Keep up the great work man!
Hey dude, great vid! Do you think you could make a vid on more advanced Tig techniques in the future? Maybe like about hitting specific contours or weld sizes, also maybe a in depth video on Tig machine settings.
I too was hoping he would do a more advanced explanation on what all these options n settings do on our machines.like, pulse, freq, downslope, upslope, spot, and my unit even has a setting for crater current values.ive just got no clue what the hell is crater current so yeah we need to know.snooky pa.😊😊
Good point, I have actually worked with people who position the trigger on the side of their torch instead, then they can do this more comfortably. Thanks for checking out the episode🤙
Essentially yes. Everything will remain the same, but focus on getting the tungsten back to a proper standoff distance as quick as you can, this will help to prevent contamination. Thanks for watching🙂

Very good tips (as always) Dusty. Thank you. All I need to do is fire up the Tig (4 years old, never used the Tig) and learn!!

EXCELENTE VIDEO!!..SALUDOS DESDE MEXICO.
I just whip the torch hose over my neck and line it up with my forearm. Never used water cooled though. I heard they can burn ya if the line pops off
Well put in words !
Always good information!
Hey Adam! I appreciate you watching as always, have a great weekend🔥

Holding the torch like that is fine if you’re using a foot pedal with a trigger/ thumb switch makes that impractical
Good point, I have actually worked with people who position the trigger on the side of their torch instead, then they can do this more comfortably. Thanks for checking out the episode🤙
Check them all out Dusty 👍
The devil is in the details. Thank you! I suppose the same rules apply for lift tig or scratch tig.
