I WAS A SMALL CHILD WHEN THE SENIOR CHOIR AT THE CHURCH I GREW UP IN WOULD SING THIS SONG, NOW I AM A 70yr. OLD WOMAN AND IT STILL SOUNDS JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT DID WHEN I WAS A CHILD... HALLELUJAH
TO THE LAMB OF "GOD" WHO DIED SO THAT WE MAY BE FREE AND HAVE A RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE.
    HALLELUJAH-AMEN

Woke up with this song on my spirit, today. I googled it and was surprised to realized it was a former student. HE WAS A GIFTED VOCALIST.
Lost track of him after graduation. But his father is still Pastoring in the area.
    Truly a Blessing to see/hear him😊

One of the most anointed person I have ever met or know. Paul Heflin will always be a part of my events, if he is available. May God continues to anoint him and his ministry. Amen!

Yes, the vessel is wonderful... but what amplifies this performance, are the lyrics: Indeed, it pays to serve Jesus! For I am happy.... ALL THE WAY!!!!

After hearing Paul sing with the Aeolians, what choir director and choir would even bother? Lol. I know that's a sad thing to say, but it's quite a letdown after hearing this version after hearing Paul with Oakwood voices... He tries to bring them up, but when your baseline is in a different category, there's only so far you can go. (Lord, help me for this commentary.) :)

Praying for you now, my brother because you're very close to the PRIDE before destruction in comparing the interpretation of praise. Our praise and worship is for the King, and not to be judged by mere man. I would never expect a non professional choir who probably have rehearsed only a few times to get and sound like a choir who probably rehearses a few times each week and was established at least 30 years ago. Secondly, I am in awe when praise turns into worship where the leader and congregation is allowed to be 1000% free to worship withholding nothing! I look forward to the day when we see the Most High God return to rapture His people of all faiths and take us back home to live with Him. Be blessed, my brother!

It has to do with interpretation. I like the Aeolians rendition, but this one is also inspirational.

The choir is lacking with that many singers they should be blowing the roof off didn't care for the choir the soloist was excellent.
