By cutting harsh jokes the roast seems tame. I wanna see more roasts in the future but maybe try a different company as sponsor that is ok with harsh jokes?

That was Jeff's decision. It's pretty common for sponsors to ask for things to be removed. I feel like jeff was in an emotional state when he asked to just have his set cut and assumed it was cause of David. It's unfortunate though. Would have loved to see the full event.
