I love the sound of the two-tones sirens. I like the old (IVECO/FIAT/UNIC ?) ladder truck too .
The Turntable ladder truck is based on a FIAT NC and must surely be of 1970s era, I remember seeing one myself in Rome in a convoy of about 4 fire engines with their sirens blaring on one sunny hot Tuesday in September 2000 going past the Colosseum but the TL shown in this video looks like it has a newer ladder but also notice that only ONE of the blue beacons attached to the ladder is working. The countries that drive on left side of the road in EUROPE are ourselves ,the United Kingdom, Eire ,Northern Ireland ,Cyprus and Malta. Sweden did until 1967 when it changed to the right in September that year. In the early 80s they were discussing about the United Kingdom switching to the right side (in around 84) but I think it would have been a more difficult process than in Sweden due to the denser population.
"Carro teli" could be literally translated as "Sheets wagon": it usually is a van transporting jumping mats, that in the old days used to be jumping sheets/life nets, and it mainly responds to sui***e attempts involving heights or more general fall risk situations.
Da Italiano: Il camion dei Vigili Del Fuoco ( firefighter truck ) è bellissimo e io appunto che ho 12 anni fin da piccolo volevo fare il pompiere e adesso ho preso la decisione che lo farò
>And they drive on the right side of the road? I thought that wasn't the case in all of Europe. There is left-hand traffic in United Kingdom, Ireland and Malta (they were British some time ago) only, which totals roughly estimated 5% of Europe.
I love Italy more every time I go my family lives there's but it pissee me off so much that people don't move for First Responders am a fire fighter in the u.s I scream at people there to move
Interesting to see that people in Italy don't respect the right of way for emergency vehicles like in the U.S. And they drive on the right side of the road? I thought that wasn't the case in all of Europe. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
BadenCityFire some are very old, but they are still used in fire stations like main engines. For example truck from 2005 are out and they are used, is so bed, they often brak down also during a call
I love Italy. I can't wait to go back!

bellissimo video. Ma la prima caserma nel video è quella centrale giusto? Mentre la seconda è quella della serie TV di Codice Rosso
La prima stazione é la sede centrale di Via Genova, l'altra è quella di Via Marmorata zona piramide.
There was a light out on the right side. You will notice it when it drives by.
very beautiful video...!!!!!!
Without using any translating services I would say that it's a Forward Communication Unit
