Happy Birthday Ms. Sylvia Kim. If you wanna learn how to cook more Filipino dishes you can ask help for Mr. BulBul's wife, I Know you knew him. Good luck and God bless you ☺️
I heard somewhere that koreans get weirded out when filipinos say samgyup or sam-g. It's like how saying Ado or Adob instead of adobo is weird for us. 😂
The banana ketchup isnt actually supposed to be the base sauce of the spaghetti, you should use spaghetti sauce(the del monte spaghettie sauce) and you can add like 4 tbsp of the banana ketchup to make the sauce more thicker and sharp in taste, it's great!!!
@@diazmalou3272 bruh. Spaghetti was (i think) an Italian food. Spaghetti sauce was a thing before Filipino started adding banana ketchup on spaghetti...
The sauce and the pasta, we cook them separately. The ingredients for the sauce are sweet style spaghetti sauce or tomato sauce , cheese, banana catsup, grounded pork, sugar , salt and a little bit of pepper. Both of you are so funny 💗
We used to use half of a banana trees body cut in half to make the Hotdogs stick stand. I remember it very well on my Birthday 🎂 🙂 Growing up in the Philippines 🇵🇭
i was thinking the same, most of mine and my sibling's birthday parties when we were young, I remembered it was banana trunks cut in half that is made as a stand for the hotdog-marshmallow sticks.
I can really relate when your classmates knew your birthday then they would tell that to your teacher and will start singing "happy birthday" and they will end it singing "ang pamahaw namon"(where's our snack) and you will end up buying food for the whole class
That’s the reason why Filipino kids are pressured when they know that their birthday is near and it will came during weekdays where there is classes lol

Huh? I never saw them being attached to cabbages. Are these commonly used in the city where banana trees are scarce? I grew up attending parties with huge banana tree trunks on the table.
@@maraelaiza yes it's actually just a presentation thing. Parents also usually wrap the cabbage (or really whatever spare hard fruit/veg one could find) in foil so it looks nicer!
for the hotdog ting, we would even use pineapples, or stems from a young banana tree, but obv you dont have access to that there since banana trees dont grow there much,, but those cabbages are good enough to hold the sticksss
For mango graham, u can try cofee mixture for first layer...i mean the base graham. And for the cream mixture, u can add condensed milk, all purpose cream, a little bit mango puree and gulaman powder(dissolve in hot water).
For filipino spaghetti, u can use the del monte spaghetti sauce, then put the banana ketchup tho its not necessary. Also cook the sauce and pasta separately. Also put sugar because the helps with the sweetness 😅
When cooking spaghetti you have to cook garlic and onions in oil and you can add mince pork then add the sauce and add some evap milk. After sauce cooked add the the noodle and depends to you if you want to add cheese
you were not supposed to put it in cabbage, what Sylvia probably saw is a banana tree stem😂😭putting hotdog sticks in the banana stem is more popular in the province. I love you guys!!
The cabbage part is real. Its the lazy version though. Youre supposed to cover the cabbage with foil to gide the fact that it is cabbage. This makes it presentable to some degree.
while in the Philippines, we know hotdog as color red and when I see a pale-colored hotdog, I will think that is chicken hotdog. So that is the difference between a hotdog and a sausage. Hmm interesting.
