Fantastically easy! I’ve seen a lot of different ways of sharpening the grooving tool but non was as easy and perfect as your video. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Best regards, Richard

I use diamond compound just because I have some 1 micron or 14,000 grit. Works very fast.
I have yet to try diamond compound, but I hear that it cuts fast. Do you use a spray or paste?
@@LeathercraftMasterclass It comes as either a water or oil based compound paste in a syringe. I started using it to polish hardened knives with high vanadium content that is extremely abrasion resistant. It works faster than polishing compound, but it is more expensive, but a little goes a long way if all you use it for is sharpening.
I use Boride Engineered Abrasives, they have great prices on Cratex as well. I made my head knife out of S35VN and it holds an edge all day then I jeweled it with Cratex. Google jeweled rifle bolt.

Nice just found this video. Unfortunately, my grooving tool is so blunt after just a few passes, to sharpen my blade as suggested is difficult as I cannot cut a line for the compound. Any alternative suggestions? Or where can I purchase a quality tool from, not like this type from China. Thanks.
Hello Anthony. You're going to have to sharpen the cutting head before polishing it. This is a more complex process that's difficult to explain in the comments. However, I do have a video detailing the process called 'Techniques Of The Blade 2, Advanced Sharpening'.
