I watch that video too, but I think that guy never used Appwrite nor Supabase which has similar plans. I'm a high school student and I love using Appwrite. Keep it up Dannis Ivy👍👍
ngl 40$ for 100gb bandwidth is quite expensive. Since something like hetzner you pay 1€ for 1tb. And you have 20tb for "free" its included in your servers pricing. 40$ needs to go down to 1$ or 2$
We have both a Flutter and React Native SDKs available! Check these out: appwrite.io/docs/quick-starts/react-native appwrite.io/docs/quick-starts/flutter
I loved appwrite until self hosted version started to be outdated and they send updates to their hosting version. i wish self hosted would be like used to be and receives updates the same day not a month later
This is a challenge we are facing and hoping to improve on. No features are being withheld from self-hosted, but there are delays when a new release is made, which is not intentional. It used to be the other way around until cloud users complained that they were getting features last. We are working to make sure they are as synchronized as possible. Doing our best ;) - Dennis Ivy
@ I agree. Unlike Supabase every features are included in the self hosted version. I still want to use appwrite but I wish you could push images faster and it would be great to use postgres instead of mariadb to connect appwrite to current projects. Thank you and all appwrite team for this great tool
It will be awesome if you start to support a KMP SDK for Appwrite, i did an example of AppWrite integration in the past with the Kotlin SDK and was pretty useful and easy to implement.
I am still having a lot of difficulties to implement appwrite for SwiftUI app. Sign in with Apple acts weird, silent notifications not working and so many weird issues. I understand you guys are busy but I start to feel the same like the video title. I tried to contact you a few times but unfortunately no one replies.
I am working on some videos for Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter OAuth videos. Is it Oauth that you are struggling with, or are you just using email and password login? Also, are you asking for support in the discord server? That's the best place to get a response. - Dennis Ivy
This is something we are considering, especially since we are adding Postgres as an option, but I can't promise it will be anytime soon. Have you considered just stringifying JSON data in a text field and parsing it when rendering it? This is a solution that works for many. - Dennis Ivy
I really start thinking to use appwrite , after seeing some videos I really liked it , the price list is aceptable for the developer. I plan to use it for NEXTJS APP. I started looking for a tutorials to helpme in that
Like this comment if you indeed want to see that KMP SDK. 🤔
Please!! That will actually be a Huge deal for Appwrite since not many providers support it It will attract people towards Appwrite
Now I wanna see it 🙋♂️- Dennis Ivy
Nah, I don't think so
You should add a calculator where people can compare it to firebase pricing
Great idea and something we need to consider!
I have made an kotlin multiplatform library. But couldn't get time to make it ready for other developers. Because i have developed it for my project.
That's awesome! You can share it in the Appwrite Discord server and share with our community: appwrite.io/discord

I like Appwrite a lot.
😁

The offline mode is really what we need right now
Good move from appwrite company, thanks for doing this kind of content and not ignore it. ❤
🙏
Is there a Flutter or React Native SDK on the horizon? Or just anything that can be used for building x-platform apps.
We have both a Flutter and React Native SDKs available!

What updates are you talking about exactly?

man i wish appwrite would join with directus, the gui part of db is what lacks in appwrite.
Is there any noce app so i can build everything with no or small code... use also apprwite and have option to auto scale?
Hmm not sure about the community part. I had to use supabase because of the community
thanks for previous video about auth but we may also like email otp session and two factor authentication in next js
On the list ;)
Appwrite with a lower w ist just underrated. Period.

Something we hope to consider soon :) - Dennis Ivy

I love appwrite, but please introduce json type as attribute
