i have a question, for rendering a video in solidworks visualize will be singnificanly better a 4070 ti super instead of 4070 super?? if the greatest diferent is at Vram size and speed
Hey Adam,Thank you for your clean video.I m using 1060 Graphic Card of 6 Gb in Dell G5 laptop and using solidworks 2020 ,But i cant change the rendering into the GPU
I do not see the a750 as supported currently on www.solidworks.com/support/hardware-certification/ This may change in the future, and it may also depend on your specific hardware configuration.
It could be an issue with having the correct driver, and it can also be a comparability with the version of visualize. For instance if your GPU is brand new and you are running an older version of visualize it may not be supported. Like wise older GPU's may not be supported any longer on newer versions of Visualize. For the latest versions click below, (you can change 2023 to a previous year as well to get info on that year) help.solidworks.com/2023/English/Visualize/c_viz_prereqs_system_reqs.htm?id=4e8b89534f97431f9e1baa88e29a802b#Pg0
That card is designed for gaming and may not give good performance. We recommend using the certified card and driver combinations found here www.solidworks.com/support/hardware-certification/
If you have a gpu with low vram or less Cuda cores then hybrid will allow you to use the cpu and motherboard ram to help improve renders. This process is slower though then just using the gpu. So if you have a strong gpu just use gpu mode only. Hope this helps
Does this only work on profesional and not standard? have the RTX A5000 "drivers up to date". there is not even an option for "RENDER ENGINE". RENDER DEVICE I have GPU selected. inside windows 10 / display settings / graphics settings, I have both visualize and solidworks set to HIGH PERFORMANCE RTX A5000 option. No matter what i do this stupid thing renders CPU only.
hi can you help me please, i have a alienware m17 r4 . its brand new. it has a rtx 3070 graphics card and a 11th gen i7 processor. i have solid works 2020. i can not get realview to work. will you please let me know what to do. i have tried other peoples tips on youtube but its for the quadra and this card that i have is ampere. please get back to me.
Bruh, You have a whole BattleStation there, even that CPU is going to do good work, and lets not talk about that GPU, my laptop only has 16Gb RAM, and 6VRAM
it was a very good video. I didn't know there was that much difference between gpu and cpu. Thanks.
I can't click the render button and other buttons. do you have a solution?

I'am using intel arc a750 gpu.
Does solodworks visualize support this gpu?

Hello, I have PNY Quadro RTX 4000. There is no GPU option available in Solidworks Visualize. Does anyone know about this issue?

nice explanation!! Does the same apply while using Sw normally, (not Visualize)? Or it's using another resource from the gpu? Tks
Just viz witg cuda
i recently bought a tuf gaming laptop to use in solidworks modeling is it good? rtx2050 i5 11th gen 8g ram

do you know why can’t I use hybrid or gpu mode on my GTX 1650 VGA?
Gotta be a driver issue.
Same here, i can't use GPU in RTX 3090 in visualize, did you fixed?
I also have the same issue, I am using Quadro RTX 4000
thanks was great.
what is difference between hybrid and GPU rendering in visualize?
which is better?

@@AdamWayneHughes Thanks adam. was really helpful. Then hybrid rendering is always slower than ((gpu only)) renderings? for all kinds of renderings?

Thank you. (sitting here with background render - 2hours estimated time for 500 passes on poor laptop CPU..)
what vga do you have?

Not even close to the caliber of keyshot
