How to Build a Floating Patio - Bridging the Barranca | Hugo Reyes & Fernando Martinez

You know how corners can be. With this project we set out to turn the ugly corner of the property into one of the most attractive spots. We accomplish this by covering the deep drainage ditch with a floating patio providing a place for great views and making the otherwise unusable space into an area for dining, barbecuing and just hanging out. The finish work is not included in this video because it hasn't happened yet, but will involve tiling the platforms and stairs, building and installing a metal stairway, painting the aplanado white, creating a green wall and then doing a bit of furnishing such as a BBQ and some seating.
