I'm glad you found it interesting. The gills are a great organ for physiology because of the dual gas exchange - osmoregulatory function. Very pretty histology too!
@@DownTheScopeMicroscopy Yes. They are quite unlike nearly all the mammalian organs that I am much more familiar with. To a limited extent they do, however, resemble the placenta.
