But, in the morning after party is through and the alcohol has turned into a hangover, Lecrae is the only one still partying because his satisfaction was not on the finite drugs or alcohol. Haven’t listened to this song in ages. It’s as good as I remembered!
I quit smoking weed over a month ago! I was addicted and had to smoke everyday but God gave me a warning with a mini stroke scare…. Now I’m only turnt on the Holy Spirit ❤️
God does NOT put you in danger in any way, specially with deaseases. He doesn't need to give you a mini stroke to warn you.
The devil is the one who came to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10).
And he is able to do that through the choices you've made.

@Jacob Doesn't everyone have a place in heaven? Regardless is your Christian or not? Your statement makes it seem like that's not the case. As long as you're a good person, have morals and values and treat others respectfully, it doesn't matter what your beliefs are you can still have 'true joy'.
For the people that say he shouldn't even be at that party or hanging out with them, what do you think Jesus did? Did he preach to the the people who loved God and were righteous every day? Yes that's true you are correct, But you didn't see Jesus partake in what the tax collector was doing, Or what the prostitute was doing, He just hung with them to proclaim the good news. I find it kind of weird that lecrae never proclaimed Jesus's name in this song, Nor did i hear him proclaim his name in the other songs i've heard. If God is with us who can be against us? Come on yall look at the bigger picture. Lecrae is saying he is Turnt on Jesus. He is not judging, he is saying the truth. At the end of the party everyone is knocked out, etc, But he is clean, not drunk, no drugs, all about Jesus. Is our goal not to be the light of the world? It is amazing now people can criticize and tear apart such a good song. No it may not have violins and organs, but it is reaching the young generation where they are. Christians get this so twisted. We weren't called to keep the gospel to ourselves-we were called to share it and share gods love. What Lecrae is doing is meeting the people where they are. The bible says to go into all the world-not just parts of it. Even if you couldn't catch it in the lyrics, when he turns up the song at the end it's clear he is still trying to get their attention-to show them that you can be happy, and have fun without the alcohol, drugs and sex. After that, the next step is introducing them to Jesus. Shoving a bible in someone's face is not going to reach this generation. Don't be so uptight people.

People seem to be overrating Lecrae's music. This video is clearly stating he's high on spirit in the middle of non- believers and leading others to christ as well. Just like Jesus did. Lecrae is one of the best rappers i've ever heard as far as hip hop goes, Stop dissing his music because you think its wrong and you think he had no right to make certain things. Actually analyze his music to see what he saying before you go and start mouthing off. Dont go looking for wrong stuff because that's exactly what your going to get in the long run...the wrong stuff. Listen first. Think about it. Respond after.
Christians don't respond to stupidity with stupidity. Tell them straight up what they said was wrong and explain. Don' start cussing at the person who cussed because it just shows your wrong just as they are. Pray for these people and let them know about the goodness of God. The bible says love your enemies as you love your family and fellow believers.
I encourage all non-believers to be believers. I would like to see you in heaven, not hell.

If a new convert ex-alcoholic goes to a party where demons are running rampant won't he/ she be tempted? I know bc it was hard for me but by the blood of Jesus I am now truly saved but I don't put myself in those predicaments, God bless you!

Do you guys not comprehend the message and the lyrics? There is no way your mind can be operating on that low of a frequency, much love for all but being religious doesn't make you spiritual. There is righteous men and evil men, your beliefs don't change the undeniable truth. You cant just follow a belief system then not lead by example... It shows a lost soul, think for yourself and know what is good and what's bad, KNOW what is light and what is dark, don't question. Know yourself. Know the world. Know consciousness. This song is obviously brilliant, why would a christian not reach out to non-christians? Isn't that the whole point.... Many people are freaking out saying "Has he forgot Jesus?" or "I remember when his songs were about Jesus and the forgiveness of sins...". You have been blinded by the simple mention of drugs and alcohol in a rap song that you can't even see that every mention of them is a negative one. As Christians, we can't pretend that drugs and alcohol aren't part of our society. If we do, then we ignore those who need God's salvation the most! How are we to witness and set an example if we aren't even near those who will watch us?

I say this with love and respect. To everyone who says Lecrae is "falling off" or stuff like that, you're not that bright. Saying things like "I lost respect for him" or "he's isn't real" makes you suchhh a Pharisee. This man is putting a crazy footprint in the hip hop industry all while professing Christ. He's done rap battles and cyphers with top secular artist and is killing them with God-based content. If anything, you should respect the guy more for being that deep and successful in the industry without compromising. Get all the facts before you judge someone.

I know that alot of "christians" use the "we are called to be seperate from the world" thing. Lecrae makes awesome music with real, different messages. I come to Lecrae because I dont find the whole "praise Jesus he is so good" typical music as relateable. Its real music about real life with real struggles. The 11 6 guys have gotten me closer with the Lord than average worship music.
Its God who says it and believe His word, apply it to your life and obey Him!
I used to not like Christian rap because I didn't think that it was spiritually "appropriate" but one of my friends that grew up in Church and later recieved Christ found Christian rap like Lecrae as a sign of hope that God is actually relatable. Jesus is the absolute but every person has their own testimony.
