The Realtor testimony was very important. She said that the house showing on the 25 was for a client that was not interested in buying the property as it was completely of budget. They just wanted to check the finishings of the house to eventually build a house. The excuse for cleaning the house is not so great then as they just wanted to have a quick look and did only check a few features. This lasted only 10 mins according to the Realtor.

She made zero excuses for Michelle. She got on the stand and testified to memory research which is her specialty. She did not discuss that in context of the Troconis interrogation at all. Or did I miss something?! The memory research is left for the jury to do with want they want in terms of applying it to this trial. Never once did she make any claims about Troconis’s memory or the truth of her stories. Why is everyone acting like she got up on stand and said “Michelle Troconis never lied and here’s why…” Calm down, geez.

@@carterphelps3156 if it failed, it failed. That’s up to the jury. But the defense is doing their job. They’re trying to give the jury (valid) alternative explanations as to why someone might make inconsistent statements over the course of three long interviews. The jury might say, we hear you but we still don’t believe her. That’s fine. That doesn’t mean the defense shouldn’t at least try. It doesn’t mean defense attorney is a “snake.” Everyone in the country is allowed an adequate defense when convicted of a crime. The memory expert never got up there and said “Michelle Troconis is telling the truth.” All she did was get up there and explain how humans might behave or recall information under various situations.

Before i say this, ive folllowed E. Loftuses career since AP Psychology in 10th grade and I did watch both Durst trials. I am also aware that Loftus is quite controversial.
I lost all respect for the purported chat moderator 'JenLo' who rather then making effforts to chill the floodgates of insutls and invectives hurled Mrs.Loftus's way (i.e, youre not allowed to make fun of ANY witness--according to chat rules). The chat moderator also stps in and fills in gaps for newer trial watchers so that, ideally, no one is left behind as far as courtrooon and legal concepts and vocabulary. The main moderator for this channel does a really good job of overall assuming the position of the content creator on various tops (i.e., youre watching a conservative show; you get conservative moderators and vice versa. But the problem with "JenLo" just joining the stampede of hatred for Loftus was thats not the official position of the channel. Secondly, it does not promote healtthy discourse or dialog about her arguments or whatever she had to share. And finally jokes about her 'memory' only serve to make the entirety of the chat MORE IGNNORANT and less educated moving forward because the question of wether or not Loftus has crappy memory has no bearing on wether her research and her arguments are sceinntifcally and logicallly valid and well-founded. Thats called an 'ad hominem' logical fallacy. If a psychologist was testifying on his life work studying 'human nervousness in relation to public speaking' and when he testified, he appeared nervous; that says nothing about the quality of his peer-reveiwed scholarship. Why? Because you are attacking the man and not the arguments themselves. Oh and attacking him being nervous on the stand violates your OWN chat policy that you never enforece when its not convient to do so.
i expect this comment to magically disapper,
    Thanks,
    Have a Great Day

Kind of complicated but she wrote a book on how some experts get personal feelings the defendant is definitely not guilty, she believes Traconis just forgot & mixed up timelines, not lieing. She stated this bout middle of testifying, prosecutors did their research knowing this lady has added to defense on some of the worst murderers & she basically always testifies for defense because she sees defendants getting thrown in prison a lot of times due to memory confusions, etc. which is true for many in prison that are not guilty but like Traconis & the serial sick murderers she has helped defense on,,,noooo.
