Bory Tucholskie (Kashubian Tëchòlsczé Bòrë, German Tucheler Heide) - one of the largest complexes of pine forests in Poland. It takes about 3 thousand. km² of sandur in the Brda and Wda basins as well as the Tucholska Plain and the Charzykowska Plain.
These forests also gave the name to the Bory Tucholskie physical and geographical mesoregion located in the eastern part of the complex, as well as a number of surface forms of nature protection: a national park, a biosphere reserve, a Natura 2000 area, as well as a forest promotion complex.

Guest rooms, cottages and campsites are waiting for tourists and lovers of the beauty of nature.

Oak Bartuś - pedunculate oak located in the "Bory Tucholskie" National Park, east of the village of Małe Swornegacie, near the Płęsno and Kacze Oko lakes, on the Struga Siedmiu Jezior; since 1991 it has had the status of a natural monument. Its circumference is 670 cm (or 720 cm) and its height is about 25 meters. The age of Bartuś is estimated at 600 years.
Bory Tucholskie grow mostly on outwash sands of the Tuchola and Charzykowska Plains, slightly entering the area of the southern part of the Kashubian Lake District. There are moraine hills, gullies, dunes, melt-holes and river valleys. They are numerous among the forests of the lake, including 40 exceeding the area of 1 km². The main rivers of Borów are the Brda and the Wda.
The area around Małe Swornegacie is famous for the organization of kayaking, water sports and fishing. The offer includes one-day and several-day kayaking trips. You can easily rent a pedal boat and a rowing boat on site. You can also take advantage of walking cruises on the Karsińskie and Charzykowskie lakes.
