The focus is still on young singles. There are a lot of mature age singles and the church is ignoring them. They are expecting them to figure things and life themselves. The only solution church gives is come and serve, keep yourself occupied. There should be more like counseling services, teaching the HOW of finding silence and solitude with and in Christ. Singles may be busy engaging in activities and still feel lonely when they head home and in bed especially those living alone or with parents. Church needs to pay attention to mature singles too

Agree. Churches are not inclusive at all. They only cater to youths or seniors or mothers. Mature singles have always been neglected by churches and ostracised. Christians discriminate against older singles.

When I have been in relationships my seasons reasons seem to become more important over time. I typically push away relationships naturally I found my callings more important in other words but at the same time I am desperate to be married. A full 20 years of desperate until in the relationship then that reason comes back calling of more important. Guess that says it all not right person to be naturally with me. Like Benny’s natural explanation. One day when I am not desperate and they naturally fit they wouldn’t then be less important than my calling.

I am a single man of 57 yrs. and I chose to remain single for a greater purpose. I have never regretted my decision.
