Imo half the work in getting a marlin is in the prep and knowledge. Heading out with those who have caught more marlin than fingers and toes is a winding the handle game.
Owned screaming reel for ten years caught over a hundred marlin not one killed ego is not a reason to keep a catch fished with the captain they based jaws off released every shark for same reason blue sharks browns taste like crap I'm talking when you show you keeping it is against everything I battled to change captain
