Could you tell me the difference in function between the easy flip float and the 25L high volume float? I’m starting with a spat setup that I’ll be hand flipping until I convert fully to your system where I’ll probably want to use all 25L floats unless you suggest otherwise.
Hi, the 20L easyflip was developed to make the flipping easier when compared to our standard 13L float, however the development of the 25L float has superseded this and is now by far our most popular float due to the stability and dry height. Hi Johan, this is what we call our "easyflip" float. The extra bouyancy at one end means the oysters do not need to be levelled out at the time of flipping. The oysters all stay at one end but the basket remains level when drying. When in the grow position it sits flat as normal. At this stage it is only available in Australia but we have plans to produce in other locations next year. I will have more videos about this soon.
