For the record, *I do NOT condone these kinds of behaviors. As such, the methods mentioned will not be specified in detail.* (play the game fairly!) I just thought I'd tell you (and everyone else) about this, for almost no reason!
I have the feeling that the leaderboards aren't global leaderboards. If you join an event late, you're put in with people who get less score than normal even though the event has been running for days.

Video 35 of asking DF to play Holocure. I should probably explain what Holocure is by this point. It's a Rogue-like revolving around vtubers, specifically, ones from Hololive, the largest vtubing company at the moment. While it helps to understand the many many references, it's sometimes better when people dont understand it, as some things can be kinda out of pocket. The game is completely free. No micro-transactions, no DLCs, no monetization whatsoever. This is mostly due to the fan-created content contract with Hololive. The game was inspired by Vampire Survivors, as quite a lot of the talents had played it before. However, to distance itself from VS, it made all (currently 29, but when 0.6 comes out, it'll be 38) playable characters unique. This allows for a lot of potential content, maybe even HOURS. Once 0.6 comes out, it'll have moved to Steam. As for right now, all you have to do is search "holocure download" and the top one should be the official one. However, i would recommend you wait for 0.6. It's supported on Windows and Linux, with no plans/intentions to make an official mobile version. I hope the editors, or DF sees this, as it would be interesting to see how many mistakes he'd make. Happy (kind-of) 5-weeks mark!
If you were wondering about the random upgrades how it works is when you get a certain amount of everything it will give a boost. You can see how much you need for the boosts at the unlocks thing on the left I think
Love when DF tries to say what each bonus gives him, or how much each business makes because he doens;t have time for reality, he just tells us what he believes should be the case. Make more numbers, make bigger numbers, click all the things.

I wonder if the exploit where closing the game (and steam if necessary) then changing your system clock to 50 years in the future still makes the game think you haven't played for 50 years and just got back into it.

So the thing causing the speed boost is the unlocks. If you have 10 of every business you get a boost. It scales the number needed over time though.
