Back in the late 1990s and 2000s you can buy a second hand Supra for the price of an Economy Car but with some budget modification you can beat Lambos and Ferraris with it which made it a cheap alternative to those high-end expensive sports cars. But now you have to pay the price of Lamborghini and Ferrari to buy a Supra. That defeated the whole purpose of buying a Supra for most budget people. I'm not saying that it is not a great machine. But for most it has lost its meaning of being an underdog and now they have no other choice but to hate it.
