To be fair, the situation is still affecting him. He is been getting constant harrasment and spooknjukes fans have been making fake twitter accounts trying to defame him by posting extremely offensive tweets (racism, homo/trans phobia based etc.) in his name to try and make him even worse. They've been threatening his kids, wife and sister along saying they were going to dox and swat them. This man was toxic in dbd but fans of this channel are taking it WAY futher and are honestly worse than him for doing this kind of behaviour.
@@hammie265 Not gonna deny that however if you recall Spooks has said that he doesn't want anyone harassing him from his community and if they did then they would be banned so he did try however that doesn't mean that people not part of his community won't find this video and that those same people won't troll or be genuinely hateful to this man. Now personally I wouldn't want this perception that a lot of people have on ShortBread and like I said I'm sure this situation isn't easy on him. However that doesn't mean that you can deny the fact that some of the things he's said has been pretty hateful and toxic. If he wasn't any of those things he wouldn't be receiving the same thing. Unfortunately for him a lot of people (myself included) view him exactly as we have seen him in this video and have seen other content creators call him out. Now they can't change this perception that people have of him anymore than I or you can. Only person who can do that is Shortbread and from what I've seen when I went to a stream myself to just see if there was some truth to it he has no intention at this time to change it. Maybe one day he will but right now all I see is a man-child crying in his Snorlax pajamas.
I remember going against this guy more recently during the anniversary event as a killer, Played a horrendous match as Dredge but still managed to hook him and another guy while the other two managed to escape. Looked him up after the match only to find I was already banned from his chat. Went back through the VOD and basically from the moment I started to outplay him and his teammates he said I was a trash Dredge and that said I was the usual subhuman killer main troglodyte and prebanned me EVEN THOUGH I HAD NEVER BEEN IN HIS CHAT LET ALONE HIS STREAM. Fuck this literal wet fart of a human being.
I hope he bans me for being a bad survivor teammate (I'm too scared to play Killer. Survivors can be super mean, even to each other, so I don't want to put myself through that...). Maybe if I don't save him, he'll ban me, and I won't have to think about him ever again lol
I used to be a mod for his channel years ago. He had one of the most hilarious and charitable communities (charitable to HIM, might I add) and even I donated a lot to him. I was a part of his community when he was only averaging 50+ viewers and was there when he was partnered. Everything seemed like it was great. But then, considering we are all adults, lives began to change. Some of his biggest financial supporters began missing streams due to life and some people who were just always in chat vanished due to work scheduling and suddenly, he was in Discord talking absolute shit about them, calling them sellouts, saying that they weren't real friends or fans, etc. Even the man who bought him Golden Feng back when the cosmetic cost over $600 (who only stopped coming around because of WORK) was ostracized. When a group of my friends were suddenly banned from the server and the chat, he made a post in the mods channel telling us that they were ALL in cahoots with one another and trying to defame him and we all needed to be vigilant and not speak with them. As a grown ass woman who makes her own decisions, loved the people he was talking about and loved him, I wanted to play a bit of Devil's Advocate. I asked to see receipts. I needed proof of what he was saying, because I'd been seeing him change for the worst after being partnered. In a nutshell, he unmodded me IMMEDIATELY and said it was for inactivity (my work schedule changed and I was working during 90% of his streams, but he still has a girl nodded who hadn't been around for six months) and that he needed mods who trusted him without question. Unbeknownst to him, I had already seen receipts from most of the other people and the ones from the ladies made me sick to my stomach. His wife is just as disgusting as he is. The men all had different issues with why they left or were kicked out, but here's the thing: NONE OF THEM were in any sort of "cahoots" until AFTER they all realized he was talking about possibly suing them for defamation.
It makes me sad. I was around his chat before he left his job to stream full time (I def remember your name btw) and his streams were the BEST. I did leave a year or so after when I started noticing him lashing out more on people; it’s unfortunate to see things haven’t changed :/

I recently (as of 12/09/2023) started playing dead by daylight. I started with nemesis (I stream mostly Resident Evil content on Twich as an affiliate) and got him to prestige 1 in roughly... 4 hours tops? I wanted his perk that highlights people at the beginning of the match. I moved to wraith, added THAT Nemesis perk to him and wound up hooking a guy in about 10 seconds (I grabbed him from the generator mid skill check). At the end of the match, I got a string of messages (all on Playstation) about 30 messages long about how trash I am, how I need to watch videos on how to properly play wraith. He proceeded to tell me someone of my level (less than 20 hours playing at that time) didn't deserve to play in his group (800+ hours). Killers, no matter what their experience level, catch serious crap from these "Pro" players. Sad really.
As a player who only plays casually playtime means literally nothing if you have the skill I have 80 hours and I shit on swfs and ttvs all the time and they’re always super chill about it. I made friends with a streamer who has about 3k hours and he’s said I’m the best killer he’s ever seen . This game isn’t that serious but people way overthink it.
I got serious shit from "pro" survivors for playing dredge "bad" it was literally my first game and I did pretty well taking out three survivors and not him Mori one of them for fun and then let him go
So if I ran into a bad player I would just say ggwp or gg And wouldn't respond But if I wanted to be just little annoying I would just repeat myself saying "gg" over and over until the end game chat ends (I just wanted to talk about my experience)
Checked in on his stream today off and on and, no joke, for 4 hours straight he did nothing but talk about you. I don't even think it's funny. I actually worry about his mental health. It's not like anyone was even goading him. I never once saw anyone from this community talking in there. He just kept going and going and going and going. I don't see how anyone can watch this guy for more than 5 minutes and not think that he's borderline unhinged. Like I said, it did not seem healthy.

(not realizing that some of Spooks community never watches him stream) He seems like a very angry person who tends to see the worst in people and thus defaults to the worst possible interpretation of anything said to him. But for somebody who acts like this is no big deal in his stream, he's letting Spooks have an aweful lot of real estate in his head....

I've played with him before and in the endgame chat he seemed to LOOK for things to complain about. I gave the killer who played against us some words of advice since they were playing pyramid head and weren't doing the best. Short bread then tried to completely shut down what I said since I was "inexperienced" and that he was better than everyone else in the lobby and that I should stop giving the Pyramid head advice. Any further attempts to try and quell the situation just lead to further instigation from him. You really could not argue with him at all, he was so high off of his own ego that it seemed impossible for him to see any perspective other than his.
The tantrums were absolutely disgusting to watch. I can't believe this person went after your kids. He needs to be banned from platforms for this, it's disgusting. I dodged a survivor lobby with him once and I'll keep doing so. I am not the best DbD player and I love going into streamers chats and hanging with them after the game- but I never want to ever encounter this.
I actually found you because of you coming into this streamers community and saying what you said. I was following him for several years and am a 15 month sub to him. From all those years, there was one time where he got upset at me for saying something everyone else was but I saw that he was really upset this day so after his stream I DMd him to let him know that I was only joking and apologized for jumping in on the trolling. He accepted and we moved on. I then ran into one other problem with him when I said something and he went on one of his 5-10 minute rants about what I had said calling me out multiple times and I corrected him saying that wasn't what I was saying at all and he then said "I know, I'm just kidding. But if you want to go into it..." then proceeded to shit talk me. I responded to a couple of his comments and then told him he was muted so I couldn't hear him. He then banned me for life but quickly changed it to 24 hours stating that saying the stream is muted is the same this as saying, "fuck you I'm done" or something similar and he took it very personally, called me all sorts of names and now I can't defend myself because I'm banned from chat but he continues to berate and belittle me while also telling chat that I'm an OG in his channel. But I was responding to what he was saying before he banned me. I'm not sure how he missed the joke. I then DMd him in that moment and told him he can make it a perma ban. He responded to him on stream saying that I need to cool down, he's not going to make it a perma ban but I can wait 24 hours. Then continued to talk about me. It was at this point he brought up about me being fake and saying "don't come apologizing to me this time like you did last time" which, by the way, was 2 years prior to this incident. TWO YEARS. I had to look back in my DMs because I actually forgot that the first time happened. Again, this was someone that I followed years and watched almost daily AND would be an active chatter. I would send him clips of his stream and just things I thought he would find funny. He still took what I said as a personal attack instead of just a joke. I haven't been back since and I'm not sad about it at all. My experience was on the inside and not noticing what was unfolding in front of my eyes. I now see the problems I was putting myself in everyday and I feel like my interactions with people in general is better now that I'm not in a constant state of learning how to be toxic without realizing it.

I played with Short Bread in Solo Q a few months ago, and I remembered hanging out in his stream for a bit afterwards and having a good time. So recently, when I bumped into him again, I asked him if he was still streaming. After getting a cryptic response, I head over to his stream to see him trashing me for no apparent reason and just ego tripping in general. Good times. Players like this are the reason I save Midwich offerings for special occassions.
@@bozo3557in dead by daylight. As a survivor, you can solo queue (get matched with 3 other random or paired survivors) or pre-build a team and queue as a group. SWF-survive with friends is a premade group. This is different then solo queue due to the game being balanced around 4 random people (swf was a later implementation) and no built in voice chat, forcing them to watch for visual cues via Hud or other survivor actions. SWF is hell on killers for this reason. 4 survivors all with meta perks, that work in tandem with each other, add in 3rd party voice chat like discord and now you 4 people, who can dictate and advise a fully detailed plan, verbal adjustments if needed, make call outs on killer location, all without any risk or punishment.

I used to watch him cause I used to think he was funny as well and then slowly watched him start to spiral. The final straw for me is when someone came into his chat and said “hey man what’s up sorry I haven’t been in in a bit life got busy I had a kid” and then proceeded to make him feel like shit for not being there everyday anyway. this makes me very very sad. I have very little free time to watch streams or play games.. but I used to love watching this streamer.. he was and still can be super funny.. he has great skill in the game.. slowly over time he started becoming more abusive towards viewers who would disagree with him, or things like you showed in this video. I watched him less and less because of it all, until I eventually unfollowed. I cannot stand viewer abuse or calling people names.. especially things like subhuman.. why on earth would you call someone subhuman.. does he even know the origins of the word subhuman? As a mother of severely disabled kids and someone who dislikes people talking to others in a degrading way.... i could not take it anymore.. I just silently left. I do however hope that he takes a good look in the mirror and reflects on his behaviour.
This guy is the epitome of a man-child. He reminds me of that guy that said to a viewer that, while in their stream, no other opinion but his own matters. This guy literally makes up stuff and takes everything out of context to make himself look better (don’t know if he’s succeeding since it only makes him look worse). I don’t think he’s even capable of being redeemed and changing his ways. To view a compliment as a personal insult and other people having opinions, and taking to the extreme that he’s done, is really just something else.

I played this guy a few months ago as huntress. Got everyone on death hook and had to resort to a proxy camp at the end which was my best move on larys. I joined his stream and oh yes.... the salt was real. Told me I tunneled even tho everyone was on death hook and I was the worst huntress hes ever gone against. I even subbed to him because he was making me laugh. Even after subbing, he was being a manchild.
The claim of "tunneling% 99% of the time is fucking braindead. The act of tunneling is ONLY chasing after one certain survivor for any particular reason. Not I unhooked you from the killer 3 meters away and he didn't let you get away. It's stupid I think sense I started playing this game in 2016 I've fought 1 tunneling killer.

I think he's surprisingly going "through" because while he obviously insults, he doesn't actually use any "bad" words. He uses common words that normally aren't rude in order to attack others... He doesn't go black, he stays in a grey area, so he might be surviving on Twitch thanks to that. Maybe if enough people report him he'd get a warning or a soft ban, but who knows.

There was this one time when I found him on the recommended tab and I had no idea who he was at the time so I thought I'd check him out. In his stream title it said "best dbd player" and I typed in his chat saying "are you sure about the title🤨" as a harmless joke then his mods got extremely angry at me and then short bread banned me straight after. Just proves that he has a massse ego and how sensitive he is on top of that

I watched the beginning of his stream today quietly and he started with his cat in his arms, which was quite cute, and I thought "Maybe he's not THAT bad..", and there were 2-3 chat messages that mentioned your video, that, of course, were deleted. And as he began to talk he called out people for talking shit about his cat that just had surgery. But there was not ONE message that talked about his cat in a insulting way. Ah yes. ShortBread So a long time ago, way back in 2017? I was a part of his community. Apparently before I even joined it, he'd gone through a community purge of sorts and was building himself back up. I happened to find him because of a match I had together with him and thought he was funny. Now flash forward some time later, I end up as a moderator and a loved member of said community. Things *seemed* okay on the outside but the way he lies, carries on like a tantruming manbaby and overall the way he treats people? Has NOT changed. It's just become much more obvious and gross. I left for personal reasons back at the beginning of 2019 and never looked back. This man tried to say me and a few others were defaming him by warning our own smaller communities not to interact with him and why we'd all left individually! It was WILD tbh and I still keep those receipts around to this day in case he tries to, ya know, do his weird 'lemme sue you because you're WRONG!' thing. I'm not surprised that it's gotten to the point where I'm gonna start directing folks to THIS video so that they stay away from him and stop giving him attention. The man got lucky in being partnered before Twitch changed their guidelines on raids/hosts and now he thinks it's fine to keep treating people terribly and that he can't be held accountable for his actions. I remember when I was kinda toxic like that from a game called Daybreak kinda like DBD but I lost my friend with the attitude problems I had with them so I became friendlier as a survivor and cooperate more, it really made me feel like a teamplayer than just playing for the exp and currency. It just really made me a better person and I'm pretty sure this streamer could change one day too.

I watched this dude from a raid one time, one singular time. In 45 minutes he did the raging thing and I thought it was his schtick. I stuck around, and in a little over an hour later, I realized it wasn’t a schtick and he was actually this unstable. Immediately left. I haven’t seen the streamer I was watching ever raid them again either. I think they heard about their behavior. The dbd community is home to some of the most toxic ppl. It’s the main reason I stopped playing this game. I’ve only ever came back to play in custom games when my friends really want me to.

He is been getting constant harrasment and spooknjukes fans have been making fake twitter accounts trying to defame him by posting extremely offensive tweets (racism, homo/trans phobia based etc.) in his name to try and make him even worse. I remember going against this guy more recently during the anniversary event as a killer, Played a horrendous match as Dredge but still managed to hook him and another guy while the other two managed to escape. Looked him up after the match only to find I was already banned from his chat. I used to be a mod for his channel years ago. He had one of the most hilarious and charitable communities (charitable to HIM, might I add) and even I donated a lot to him. I was a part of his community when he was only averaging 50+ viewers and was there when he was partnered. Everything seemed like it was great.
But then, considering we are all adults, lives began to change. Some of his biggest financial supporters began missing streams due to life and some people who were just always in chat vanished due to work scheduling and suddenly, he was in Discord talking absolute shit about them, calling them sellouts, saying that they weren't real friends or fans, etc. Even the man who bought him Golden Feng back when the cosmetic cost over $600 (who only stopped coming around because of WORK) was ostracized.
When a group of my friends were suddenly banned from the server and the chat, he made a post in the mods channel telling us that they were ALL in cahoots with one another and trying to defame him and we all needed to be vigilant and not speak with them.
As a grown ass woman who makes her own decisions, loved the people he was talking about and loved him, I wanted to play a bit of Devil's Advocate. I asked to see receipts. I needed proof of what he was saying, because I'd been seeing him change for the worst after being partnered.
In a nutshell, he unmodded me IMMEDIATELY and said it was for inactivity (my work schedule changed and I was working during 90% of his streams, but he still has a girl nodded who hadn't been around for six months) and that he needed mods who trusted him without question.
Unbeknownst to him, I had already seen receipts from most of the other people and the ones from the ladies made me sick to my stomach. His wife is just as disgusting as he is. The men all had different issues with why they left or were kicked out, but here's the thing: NONE OF THEM were in any sort of "cahoots" until AFTER they all realized he was talking about possibly suing them for defamation.
It makes me sad. I was around his chat before he left his job to stream full time (I def remember your name btw) and his streams were the BEST. I did leave a year or so after when I started noticing him lashing out more on people; it’s unfortunate to see things haven’t changed :/

I recently (as of 12/09/2023) started playing dead by daylight.
I started with nemesis (I stream mostly Resident Evil content on Twich as an affiliate) and got him to prestige 1 in roughly... 4 hours tops? I wanted his perk that highlights people at the beginning of the match.
I moved to wraith, added THAT Nemesis perk to him and wound up hooking a guy in about 10 seconds (I grabbed him from the generator mid skill check).
At the end of the match, I got a string of messages (all on Playstation) about 30 messages long about how trash I am, how I need to watch videos on how to properly play wraith.
He proceeded to tell me someone of my level (less than 20 hours playing at that time) didn't deserve to play in his group (800+ hours).
Killers, no matter what their experience level, catch serious crap from these "Pro" players.
Sad really.
As a player who only plays casually playtime means literally nothing if you have the skill I have 80 hours and I shit on swfs and ttvs all the time and they’re always super chill about it. I made friends with a streamer who has about 3k hours and he’s said I’m the best killer he’s ever seen . This game isn’t that serious but people way overthink it.
I got serious shit from "pro" survivors for playing dredge "bad" it was literally my first game and I did pretty well taking out three survivors and not him Mori one of them for fun and then let him go

I've played with him before and in the endgame chat he seemed to LOOK for things to complain about. I gave the killer who played against us some words of advice since they were playing pyramid head and weren't doing the best. Short bread then tried to completely shut down what I said since I was "inexperienced" and that he was better than everyone else in the lobby and that I should stop giving the Pyramid head advice. Any further attempts to try and quell the situation just lead to further instigation from him. I actually found you because of you coming into this streamers community and saying what you said. I was following him for several years and am a 15 month sub to him. From all those years, there was one time where he got upset at me for saying something everyone else was but I saw that he was really upset this day so after his stream I DMd him to let him know that I was only joking and apologized for jumping in on the trolling. He accepted and we moved on.
I then ran into one other problem with him when I said something and he went on one of his 5-10 minute rants about what I had said calling me out multiple times and I corrected him saying that wasn't what I was saying at all and he then said "I know, I'm just kidding. But if you want to go into it..." then proceeded to shit talk me. I responded to a couple of his comments and then told him he was muted so I couldn't hear him. He then banned me for life but quickly changed it to 24 hours stating that saying the stream is muted is the same this as saying, "fuck you I'm done" or something similar and he took it very personally, called me all sorts of names and now I can't defend myself because I'm banned from chat but he continues to berate and belittle me while also telling chat that I'm an OG in his channel. But I was responding to what he was saying before he banned me. I'm not sure how he missed the joke. I then DMd him in that moment and told him he can make it a perma ban. He responded to him on stream saying that I need to cool down, he's not going to make it a perma ban but I can wait 24 hours. Then continued to talk about me. It was at this point he brought up about me being fake and saying "don't come apologizing to me this time like you did last time" which, by the way, was 2 years prior to this incident. TWO YEARS. I had to look back in my DMs because I actually forgot that the first time happened.
Again, this was someone that I followed years and watched almost daily AND would be an active chatter. I would send him clips of his stream and just things I thought he would find funny. He still took what I said as a personal attack instead of just a joke. I haven't been back since and I'm not sad about it at all. My experience was on the inside and not noticing what was unfolding in front of my eyes. I now see the problems I was putting myself in everyday and I feel like my interactions with people in general is better now that I'm not in a constant state of learning how to be toxic without realizing it.

I had the unfortunate "pleasure" of playing against this man a few times as killer while streaming and oh boy, he made some of the worst people I have ever met in my life look like saints in comparison, I cannot express how happy it makes me too see this video having been made.

I played with Short Bread in Solo Q a few months ago, and I remembered hanging out in his stream for a bit afterwards and having a good time. So recently, when I bumped into him again, I asked him if he was still streaming. After getting a cryptic response, I head over to his stream to see him trashing me for no apparent reason and just ego tripping in general. Good times.

As a survivor, you can solo queue (get matched with 3 other random or paired survivors) or pre-build a team and queue as a group.
SWF-survive with friends is a premade group.
This is different then solo queue due to the game being balanced around 4 random people (swf was a later implementation) and no built in voice chat, forcing them to watch for visual cues via Hud or other survivor actions.
SWF is hell on killers for this reason. 4 survivors all with meta perks, that work in tandem with each other, add in 3rd party voice chat like discord and now you 4 people, who can dictate and advise a fully detailed plan, verbal adjustments if needed, make call outs on killer location, all without any risk or punishment.

To them it's normal to insult into oblivion whoever played the game poorly but, on the contrary, it's not normal to be called out for the same things or their behaviour. They also live in a delusional world because they lie to themselves (like Short Bread who LEGIT thinks that, for example, the Mikaela who was on death hook, came to apologise and had 21k BP is actually the console-icon player who had not even 7k points.)

this makes me very very sad. I have very little free time to watch streams or play games.. but I used to love watching this streamer.. he was and still can be super funny.. he has great skill in the game.. slowly over time he started becoming more abusive towards viewers who would disagree with him, or things like you showed in this video. I watched him less and less because of it all, until I eventually unfollowed. I cannot stand viewer abuse or calling people names.. especially things like subhuman.. why on earth would you call someone subhuman.. does he even know the origins of the word subhuman? As a mother of severely disabled kids and someone who dislikes people talking to others in a degrading way.... i could not take it anymore.. I just silently left. This guy is the epitome of a man-child. He reminds me of that guy that said to a viewer that, while in their stream, no other opinion but his own matters. This guy literally makes up stuff and takes everything out of context to make himself look better (don’t know if he’s succeeding since it only makes him look worse). I don’t think he’s even capable of being redeemed and changing his ways. To view a compliment as a personal insult and other people having opinions, and taking to the extreme that he’s done, is really just something else.

I think he's surprisingly going "through" because while he obviously insults, he doesn't actually use any "bad" words. He uses common words that normally aren't rude in order to attack others... He doesn't go black, he stays in a grey area, so he might be surviving on Twitch thanks to that.

There was this one time when I found him on the recommended tab and I had no idea who he was at the time so I thought I'd check him out. In his stream title it said "best dbd player" and I typed in his chat saying "are you sure about the title🤨" as a harmless joke then his mods got extremely angry at me and then short bread banned me straight after. Just proves that he has a massse ego and how sensitive he is on top of that

So a long time ago, way back in 2017? I was a part of his community. Apparently before I even joined it, he'd gone through a community purge of sorts and was building himself back up. I happened to find him because of a match I had together with him and thought he was funny.
Now flash forward some time later, I end up as a moderator and a loved member of said community. Things *seemed* okay on the outside but the way he lies, carries on like a tantruming manbaby and overall the way he treats people? Has NOT changed. It's just become much more obvious and gross. I left for personal reasons back at the beginning of 2019 and never looked back. This man tried to say me and a few others were defaming him by warning our own smaller communities not to interact with him and why we'd all left individually! It was WILD tbh and I still keep those receipts around to this day in case he tries to, ya know, do his weird 'lemme sue you because you're WRONG!' thing.
I'm not surprised that it's gotten to the point where I'm gonna start directing folks to THIS video so that they stay away from him and stop giving him attention. The man got lucky in being partnered before Twitch changed their guidelines on raids/hosts and now he thinks it's fine to keep treating people terribly and that he can't be held accountable for his actions.

I remember when I was kinda toxic like that from a game called Daybreak kinda like DBD but I lost my friend with the attitude problems I had with them so I became friendlier as a survivor and cooperate more, it really made me feel like a teamplayer than just playing for the exp and currency. It just really made me a better person and I'm pretty sure this streamer could change one day too.

I watched this dude from a raid one time, one singular time. In 45 minutes he did the raging thing and I thought it was his schtick. I stuck around, and in a little over an hour later, I realized it wasn’t a schtick and he was actually this unstable. Immediately left. I haven’t seen the streamer I was watching ever raid them again either. I think they heard about their behavior. The dbd community is home to some of the most toxic ppl. It’s the main reason I stopped playing this game. I’ve only ever came back to play in custom games when my friends really want me to.
