These are all so beautiful! I love when artists demonstrate how to sketch out their drawings. Your channel is really wonderful. Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity.
I was so sad to see you finish....I could have continued watching you fill the entire page I enjoyed it so much! Just stumbled unto your channel, will now subscribe and check out your other videos! These are so darn cute, thanks for sharing!
Hi Shana, I came across your video while looking for Holiday designs. As a beginner to watercolors, I was really fascinated with how much detail you can achieve with a few strokes of the paint brush. I like them all but the snowman and the bell are my favorite. Thank you! for sharing these beginner friendly designs with us.
Grateful for artists like you who take the time to teach and help others learn and inspire us. These are great ideas for Christmas tags, very cute. The negative and critcal comments aren't necessary and I really believe some people have lost the fact that there are real human beings behind these videos. It's not hard to just move along to another video or artist who might suit them better. 🤔
Thank you Rebecca. That’s so kind of you to say. Thank you for watching! I try not to take the negative criticism to heart. To each their own 🤷♀️. Your kind words mean so much.
Thanks Shana for giving clear instruction plus other options to do with the painting. These painting even though they a simple turned out really nice. Hope you enjoy your holiday.🎅🎄🤶
I love your art! I am going to use several pieces and make them my own and make them into cards for my family. ☺️ Thank you for helping me get better with my watercolors.
Thank you for this! I just found your channel, and I enjoyed this very much. You're a great teacher! I'm an old dog learning new tricks. I've 8nly worked with oils for thecmost part and couldn't seem to figurecout the watercolors.
Welcome! So glad you are enjoying the channel. Watercolor and oils are literally like oil and water. 😀. So completely different but once you get it (which I know you will) you will love it.
Hello Shana. You make the drawing and watercolring so easy.😊 these images are beautiful and perfect for the Holidays. I use ink pads and stamps to make my cards or tags. I'm subscribing today. Thank you
New sub!! I kept *hoping* you would add a little pom-pom to the gnome's hat!! That made me so happy! These are all so fun. Your sketchy pen work really reminds me of Charles Schultz's style. Look forward to exploring your channel a bit more. Thanks for this!!
I think you are referring to the micron pens I use for outlining. You can find those at most art stores and online. Just search micron pens and they should pop up.
Looking down, or moving our screen, to see the sheen of water, doesn’t work like that, you have to tilt paper/ card to reflect your light onto paper so we can see, I hope that helps you, love your work too, ❤️❤️💯✨✨
It takes time to learn color mixing but if you spend some time on it opens up a whole new world. As you practice you will learn. There are also several color mixing videos you can check out. Here’s one about mixing neutral and I have several more. th-cam.com/video/1VZkY9RzUfk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZzkuDeDs_UbAOwDR
You are so talented I couldn’t draw to save my soul but it was fun watching you draw. I read most of the comments and they all are going to try it. I can’t even begin to try it because I can’t draw but it was so fun watching you. You are so talented.
Thank you so much Sheryl. I’m glad you enjoyed watching. I hope you will give it a try. I know drawing can seem challenging but you will improve with practice. I believe in you 😁
That can be totally frustrating and it definitely happens to me too. When I’m using my pens on cold press, watercolor paper, I always expect that there will be some skipping and clogging. I often go over my lines 2 or three times as I am sketching on cold press paper. You’re never going to get a completely smooth line. You could try hot pressed paper, which is much smoother, which will be more gentle on your pens and help you create smoother lines, I hope that helps.
I get that these are from Dollar tree, but you're cutting causes so much waste. The first sign with the rainbow, you could have saved yourself a step by placing the flat against the edge of the vinyl. The candy cane could have been done the same way, and then you could have put them immediately next to each other by the hook and would have saved so much that you trimmed off and threw away.
The outline looks sloppy especially the mints. Take your time a little more. Looks unprofessional for an adult crafting. Some are good others not so much. The gnome is too brown. Just my opinion as a fellow crafter.
@shanacirce2667 , I love the carefree look of sketched outlines. You keep doing You!! I think all of your tags are nicely done, and I Love the cute snowperson, and the gnome!❤
I think the knome is hysterical with the brown beard😂.
Haha. I’m not too sure about him. 🎉

I would put the To: and From: on the back of the tag, saving the painted for a small keepsake.
Great idea!
Thank you for that belly laugh! Loved the soundtrack and laughter.

I like those watercolor pens
What kind are they and where can you find some like that?

Shana, I know this is a weid question, but what eraser are you using and where did you get it.? Linda
Not a weird question at all. It’s called a kneaded eraser and you can get them at any art store or online.
How do you know what color to mix ? Like in the bell, the red and the gray? 😊
It takes time to learn color mixing but if you spend some time on it opens up a whole new world. As you practice you will learn. There are also several color mixing videos you can check out. So cute ,,,,xxx 🌲🎄🌲
Thank you!
What size point are you using with the pen?
.03 micron pen. ✍️
Those are so cute but you forgot the Snowman's cole, scarf and belt. I love it, I thought it was gorgeous.
You are so talented I couldn’t draw to save my soul but it was fun watching you draw. I read most of the comments and they all are going to try it. I can’t even begin to try it because I can’t draw but it was so fun watching you. You are so talented.

😊
All of my pens clog up. Black or white .sharpies, sakura, several brands.I give up. What is your secret?

Hi Maggie! I think this comment might have been for another video! :). Thanks for watching if you did get to watch this one.
The outline looks sloppy especially the mints. Take your time a little more. Looks unprofessional for an adult crafting. Some are good others not so much. The gnome is too brown. Just my opinion as a fellow crafter.
Sorry it wasn’t your cup of tea. Thanks for watching. 😁
@shanacirce2667 , I love the carefree look of sketched outlines. You keep doing You!! I think all of your tags are nicely done, and I Love the cute snowperson, and the gnome!❤
You almost destroyed every part of your paitings, with this exaggerated "outline strokes"...it's a pity...
No worries. You can just leave those out if you don’t like that look. Thanks for watching.
I agree!!!
She did say she was showing another option. It’s all cute either way. It’s for gift tags not for The Louvre.
I like it....gives it more 'body' I feel. Just my opinion. 🎉
I love the outline strokes!!!! Makes the pictures look happy and relaxed😊
Thanks!
Thank you so much Holly! Your support means the world to me. Happy Painting! 😁
