Herbert Hoover as proven was not responsible for the depression. Rather it was a deep flaw hidden within its creation. This is why it worked when they fixed it. We have never been this financially devastated again.
I'm teaching a class in American Culture at a University here in Korea. When possible, I try to inject some fun music. I wanted this song for my "Great Depression" lesson, and honestly, this one is so well done and easy to understand (for non-native speakers!) I am going for it!
SKinSKorea I’m in 5th grade and I’m learning about the Great Depression and my teacher showed the class this
Good luck 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
It's a great example for ESL students too. "We'd like to thank you Herbert Hoover" but they're not actually thanking him - a great example of verbal irony
We’re doing an production of Annie in less then 10 days learned this whole scene today it’s amazing
My school recently did a production of "Annie" in February. I was the one who said the "I used to throw away the papers" line

He did so many great things and he’s judged for only 4 years and when FDR was president the Great Depression was still around for 8 years lol 😂
@@Cblh07 Well whose fault was it that there even was a depression? He could have at least worked to give people homes instead of leaving them to fend for themselves.
@@chillpenguin3481 I’m not saying his presidency was good but he did a lot of gray things for example during World War One when he was still a private citizen and didn’t have to do anything he used his own money to get boats and bring back 300,000 Americans who were stuck in Europe. I’m World War Two when he was a private citizen again he uses his own money and bought bread for the France who were captured and the Jews, he also helped fund America in ww2 a lot so he did quite a bit of good before and after his presidency
I've got this memorized. Eat your heart out, Tomorrow.
This performance of it is great.🙂

We’d like to thank you Donald trump
for making America great again.
nightmare freddy Movies grammar, dude. The way you said that made it seem like you’re saying Donald Trump didn’t make America great again, but you’re asking me to.
nightmare freddy Movies you do realize I can see that you edited your comment?
nightmare freddy Movies you originally said “He didn’t. Make America great again.”
nightmare freddy Movies there’s nothing really that wrong with it. You made a small punctuation mistake and then corrected it by using TH-cams editing system, and you can tell when comments and replies are edited because it says (edited) above the comment. Specifically, your first reply to my reply to this comment.
Thank you Joe Biden.
