Schneider M241 / SD Card Firmware Update

1) Power Down PLC
2) Insert SD Card
3) Power Up PLC
4) Wait (about 40 seconds) until SD light turns off and ERR light Flashes.
5) Remove SD Card
6) Wait for PLC to Reset. This is indicated by Run light flashing
7) Switch RUN switch to 'stop' position.
8) Switch RUN switch to 'run' position

Firmware is available from Schneider's website. There are a few versions. You can either download a zip file and extract it onto an SD card. Or you can use Schneider's controller assistant software to write an sd card for you.

Hello! Thank you for the helpful video. What power cable do you use for the plc? Where did you get it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ryan. I didn't realise I had this video set to public. The PLC is powered by a 24V DC power supply and is just connected with some building wire. But if you plug in a USB cable (mini b) the PLC will also power up and can do the firmware update.
