Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "medical billing certification examination" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Lukesey CPC Carnage - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.
This was great, I have been researching "what is on the medical coding exam" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Penailey TelepathicPrincipality - (do a google search ) ? It is an awesome exclusive guide for discovering how to passing the AAPC exam for Certified Professional Coder minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got amazing results with it.
Thanks for this video I enjoyed it. You remind me of Michelle Obama. I love it, both of you are classy ladies. I am excited and nervous about my CPC exam. I am nowhere near completing my courses yet, I am just grateful information like this is available. It gives people the know how to do their best as well as properly prepare. Thank you.
While I'm not familiar with the online self-paced course, if you are referring to the AAPC they may be in line with them. I wouldn't expect to see the exact questions on your exam. Hope the helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Mam i am getting confused sometime. Sometime we are including surgery diameters in codes but sometime not. Why.. And these modifiers 51 59 etc. Plz help. Its been 2 days of taking classes of cpc.. The tutor is first teaching us surgery.. Any tips u want to give me?
Thanks for these tips! I recently took my exam didn't pass. My biggest issue was pacing myself. I will be better prepared next time and I will be sure to pace myself. An 85% or higher is what I'm aiming for.
I'm taking my CpC test on 4/20/19. I've been a medical biller and collector for 8 years. I still feel like im not ready yet. Been studying since January when I got all my books. I'm looking for a good practice test the only free one I can find is for ICD-9 codes.
Hello, what would you say is the best way to learn the manuals? they do not seem very user friendly, even after putting the tabs in. Especially for the ICD, are there tips to understand the manual in response to questions asking to pick a code based on specific surgeries? Thanks in advance.

Ash Smith I think most people don't pass the first time around. Good luck in your next exam. You can do it. I take my in October but also failed last year.
You can actually use any year ICD-10, but I would recommend you use the current year of your test. If they are testing you on 2018 guidelines and guidance, it will be best to have the 2018 manual instead of 2017. Hope that helps.

And you will get it. My biggest advice is to take practice tests under time. Allow yourself 2 minutes to complete a question. Good luck!!

what would you say is the best way to learn the manuals? they do not seem very user friendly, even after putting the tabs in. Especially for the ICD, are there tips to understand the manual in response to questions asking to pick a code based on specific surgeries? Thanks in advance.
Hi Saef. I'm trying to follow your question. Is your question for ICD-10-CM or PCS? There is a difference.
@@PRNCodingEdu sorry im actually talking about the CPT. The one with all the medical codes
I am wondering if Colorado has people take the CPC through AAPC??
The AAPC is a national organization with chapters in all states. What city in Colorado?
@@PRNCodingEdu I will be moving to either Englewood or Highland Ranch
@@PRNCodingEdu I have a question...how many times can we take the AAPC? I heard only 3 then that is it FOREVER! true or?
Each time you pay for the exam, you get 2 attempts. You can pay for it as many times as needed.
Not sure where Highland Ranch is located, but there are 9 chapters in Colorado. There is one in Englewood. Hope that helps.
You are such a great teacher, Clarice!
+Jill W. Fox Thank you Jill!! I appreciate your comment!!
I didn’t pass the second time smh. Time management is key. I had about 20 questions left and had to guess.
Let me know how I can help. Email me at cwarner@ohioprn.com

Ash Smith how did it go?
Cansu Cansu i didn’t pass. i know i didn’t. i had 40 questions left and 15 mins to finish them. my issue is i recheck my answers. that slowed me up
Ash Smith I think most people don't pass the first time around. Good luck in your next exam. You can do it. I take my in October but also failed last year.
Cansu Cansu when my test is graded i will retake it. i have study packets that i will practice twice a week to get faster.
When taking the exam do we need the most recent icd 10?
