Im a vlogger in Blackpool, and the sprouts of recovery are there, I live in the Central Area where as you can see the council concentrate all the money near the station, the 300 million project near the new car park has run out of money so im assuming giant car parks in that area! Good video pal & thanks forgot the shout. IMO 90k sounds fairly reasonable for those houses on Henry St, but the wooden house maybe sat on more land, which is possibly why it cost more. There used to be three of those wooden houses. Not sure what will become of Central Drive now that the 300M development has fallen through.

@@tracyrobo7606 absolutely right Tracy, I just personally think there’s a lot of money being spent on the wrong things. Community is lost because they’re forgotten about by their own council. Great comment Tracy thank you 🙏
The houses being CPO’d are to make way for a reduced capacity stand for Blackpool FC which is a community asset and also the community sports village development , which will be another community asset . Having looked on right move the money offered in the CPO’s would appear to be in the right ball park . The decline of the Central Drive area started with the closure of Blackpool Central Railway Station in 1964. Blackpool Central was at one point the busiest station in the UK ( some say the world ) and had 14 platforms .
Such a shame because Blackpool is lovely, and so much of the 'guts' of it is being ripped out. If people are forced to move, they should be paid a PREMIUM for their property and set up in a new property before any demolition takes place. Where can you buy another house for £90k and cover all the legal and moving costs close to where they are? NOWHERE. Theft of property by the state, happening all over. Nice one mate, great vid 👍

IE Man or woman walking around with a camera trying to provoke other people into a reaction for the sake of fame, there own ego and views for financial gain at the expense of hard working people. the thing is this, if the auditors keep behaving in the way they are then its gona cause the government to pass a law that would result in all street camera work to be banned, and i think that is the intention of government at this time, ie give them enough rope and pow, banned the lot of ya.. which would be disastrous for real people like you, billy moor etc who are simply trying to help other people.A final note is that im not against all auditors, some of them are out right hilarious and at most commit just harmless banter.. its the malevolent toxic ones im on about.. @@Meepsmusic63 thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you, I don’t think it’s long before filming in public is banned or you need a license, because others are antagonising vulnerable people with this. Come off it. Clearly the four home owners who still reside on Henry Street are simply hanging on for a better offer. It may be the case that there are other properties in the same location that are valued more, but that is because those other properties don’t back onto a Football Ground. Let’s look at the facts:- 21 Henry Street: Value as of 06 Sept 2023 = £80,000 (value 31 March 2021 = £64,000) 17 Henry Street: Value as of 09 June 2021 = £66,380 05 Henry Street: Value as of 10 Aug 2021 = £60,000 (value 17 Dec 2013 = £52,144) 24 Henry Street: Value as of 21 Nov 2019 = £52,500 15 Henry Street: Value as of 05 Dec 2014 = £49,500 That land at the top of the road which you claim was a garage was nothing of the sort. Up until August 2015, there were two small hut-sized properties on there, similar in build to that little wooden building that still stands there. The land would probably be worth £140,000 as they could build two semi-detached houses on there. I agree that a lot more could be done for the street-dwellers in the town, but street-dwellers have got to want to be helped. Not just a hand-out, but a desire to improve their lot. If they simply give hand-outs to every street dweller that turned-up, then everyone would come and doss in Blackpool. A friend of mine tried to help a street-dweller, put him up in his spare-room for a couple of days. Got him in contact with one of the local hostels etc. Gave him some clean clothes and put some food in his belly. One morning my friend woke up to find his guest had gone, gone back to the streets, gone back to the lifestyle he preferred. I suppose to some of them, they prefer the lifestyle of having no responsibility for anything other than where they might get their next 20 pence. (That’s a true story). Sadly also, there are many who take advantage of the street-begging lifestyle who are clearly not on the streets. People you will find huddled in shop doorways, or infront of the busy pubs. They’re the same faces every day. Amazingly, they turn-up each day in a change of clothing and start their shift again. Or they may have a large bulldog with them. The cost of keeping such an animal is not cheap, so how can they afford, I wonder? It’s a reality of life that some of these people are already drawing benefit but they feel they deserve more. The best way to help people on the street is to buy them a sandwich or a hot meal. Any money you might give them will only be wasted on nose-candy.
