My grand father sung this song during a home fellowship, later the following month he passed on. In this song I find all the greatest memories of him. He inspired me to trusting and believing in God no matter the circumstances.

Ya my sweet brother,,,now singing with angels in heaven....sing it there the way you used to sing....we would get so excited by your show of hands....I love see you there when I've lived up to old age to see for both of us what we longed to see in old age,...our children grow knowing you and getting their family and grandchildren....Gracious God hear us...
@@evelynenjoroge9222 May God continue to bless them as they both continue to rest in peace RIP our beloved ones 🙏 and its 1 month since my guka passed away too.
You have sung well, but why do you people change the words of the ORIGINAL SONG? I really have issues with those who change the original words of any song. Why don't they make their OWN songs and put the words they want? Surprisingly, this is only done by Kenyans. If you listen to hymns by other nations, especially Wazungu, they never change the words at all. I have no problem with those who play the songs using modern music equipment, like the way you guys are playing the guitars, but kindly do not change either the tune or words. That amounts to piracy. I'll listen to your other songs in the hope that you have no changed the words. Otherwise, God bless you as you sing for HIM.

Growing up going in PCEA we sang this hymn songs at heart
Ũnyite na guoko, njikarage nawe,
Ndĩkuuĩire mũtĩ wakwa wa kwambĩrwo;
Njikarage nawe mathĩnainĩ mothe,
Nĩgetha ũndeithie kũhotana

Na nĩngwenda kuona riri wa Igũrũ;
Ũgatware andũ aku Igũrũ makahurũke;
Ũndeithie gũtiga mĩhang’o ya thĩ ĩno;
Nĩguo hote gwĩthagathaga.
Ndarĩkia gũkinya mũciĩ ũcio wa Igũrũ,
