[Bối cảnh]
Vở kịch lấy bối cảnh năm 1936 là một năm đầy biến động đối với lịch sử Tây Ban Nha.
Tây Ban Nha có kế hoạch tổ chức Olimpiada Popular - thế vận hội nhân dân tại Barcelona, mang tính chất phản đối thế vận hội ở Beclin dưới sự kiểm soát của Đảng Quốc xã. Nhưng trong một buổi diễn tập trước khi Olimpiada chính thức khai mạc, người dân được tin nội chiến trong nước đã nổ ra, và quân phiến loạn đang tiến tới Barcelona với sự theo sau của phát xít Đức và Ý. [Setting]
The play is set in 1936 which was a tumultuous year for the history of Spain.
Spain planned to organize the Olimpiada Popular (People's Olympiad) in Barcelona - a protest event against the Summer Olympics being held in Berlin, which was then under control of the Nazi Party. But during the rehearsal before the official opening of Olimpiada, the
People were told that civil war had broken out, and that the rebels were heading to Barcelona with the help of Nazi Germany and Italy. And because of that, the Olympics had to be postpone.
Photographer Georges and social playwright Catherine saw each other again at this rehearsal. While people are stirring about the civil war, they rejected the advices to leave from there, and had the same thoughts that they would stay to follow and save documents about the civil war.
