Absolutely love the channel, but whoever is writing has a very irritating tick. In every script, there is at least one occurrence of the grammatical construction which goes like, "Lustig, he had..." Why use this odd phrasing? It sounds very awkward.
I will never stop being impressed at how fast you churn these out. The fact that these are all well researched/edited is bonus points. Keep it up guys.

Well my history teacher was full of it then! My class in the late 90s was told the Eiffel tower was first conceptualised by a farmer, from west of Paris, who built a 1/4 scale model of the tower in a field, in order to get approval for the full sized one, in Paris, as a permanent feature; and I've been repeating this story until now.

There was a New Yorker who made a living in the early 20th century by "selling" the Brooklyn Bridge to unwary tourists "dirt cheap" on a regular basis. Of course, he was eventually caught. But he did have a legacy - every so often, a person will say, after an absurd story, "And if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you."

Since the first sale of the Eiffel Tower was not reported, I believe he went back and sold it again! This time though the con was reported. And the sheriff whom he sold the money box to eventually went to jail himself, when he was caught trying to sell it to recoup his losses.
Simon! If you see this, can you PLEASE respond to me with the sponsor info you had for the men's hair growth website you had about a year ago? I didn't have money for the subscription then, but do now, and would love to sign up if it'll still support you! Thanks!
Please, please do a video explanation of the custom of making eye contact upon toasting, with the superstition being that failure to lock eyes will eventuate in 7 years of bad sex. It's a common custom in Europe, and many places in the Americas. But not all know it! I often am embarassed when I do it and if the other person doesn't know what i'm talking about it, it's a little humiliating to explain! LOL!
Today I found out that in the Islam the cat is considered a very spiritual animal. I didn’t know that. But that’s all I know at the moment. Can you do a video about that. I know I can do the research myself, but you are far better in it than I am.
This video is almost identical to the one by the history guy just last well. Do some topic that's totally new please. Why rockets are so expensive would be interesting. They're basically just giant tanks of fuels, some tubes and a powerful fire place. A cheap cell phone has all the electronics needed to steer them too. Why so expensive??
