I like using menus/a screen and don't mind menu diving. My problem is, I was straining to read the tiny screen on the Smpltrek and I returned it and was sad. I've now pre-ordered this beast. But hopefully I found a fix. I bought credit card sized magnifying glass. I'm hoping I can attach it and it'll make the screen so much easier for me to read. Can't wait to get my hands on this thing! Insane possibilities! Looking fwd to you dropping the video tutorial soon!
i have an elektron syntakt as my first hardware drum synth but still want this :D i'm a sucker for punch-in effects and glitchy stuff to perform on the fly, seems like this thing checks those boxes.
Can we please get a demo of just drums? No bass, no pads, no melodic lead. I only want to buy this for drum sounds, no plans to use it as a groovebox for a full track. Thank you for all you are doing for the synth world!!!
I'm in the same boat... Every drum machine geht's the Groove Box Demos nowadays That's ok for people that want a groove Box. But I just need drums and percussive sounds. Maybe it's just the wrong machine for me. Who knows?
If you listen to the songs that are successful in the charts, these drum sounds don't appear in them. Sounds for niche music. For me they are not mainstream enough.
all the sonicware instruments are not meant to do mainstream stuff - and that's hell of a good thing in my opinion. if you produce music for the sake of getting high chart numbers there are other machines for it like the 808.

@@stfomusic Nah, 808 and 909 sounds have been mega-out for a long time. Arturia Spark sounds have held up well and are still popular.
