I'm telling you this video saved me too. I didn't want to pay my dealer $350 but I was about to do it because I missed my stereo. I missed XM Radio and my true crime podcasts. I was going crazy and then I seen this amazing ladies video. It took me less than three minutes to get my radio working again and it has been locked for two months now. I am so very thankful that she took the time to put this online. I am so thankful.
I don't have the same kind of vehicle you have, I actually have a 2015 Buick Verano and I did as you instructed to do and it worked for me as well!!! So thank you very much for sharing, it literally saved me $175 just so the dealership could diagnose the problem!!! Such HORSESHIT!!! Afterwards I went ahead and called back up the dealership and told them so as well as called up GM assistance and notified them and asked them if they could please put it into their notes that if anyone else is to call up having the same type of issue that they could pass this along to them. Just my way of paying it forward just as you did. God Bless.🙏

Yooo fr I changed my battery on my 2013 Malibu and my screen wouldn't even turn on. This definitely did the trick girl thank you ! This needs more likes !
Thank you for blessing me with that suggestion I am 71 years old use a milkcrate to get that low to the ground, I pulled that 20 amp fuse put it back in radio works. Many Thanks😁
Bro 9-23-2023 just opened the fuse box there third one down just pulled it out and cleaned it with my fingers put it back in and now my moms radio is unlocked! THANKS! 🇺🇸👍🏼

(P.s i did drop the fuse and couldn’t reach it so I struggled there until I realized I could pull out the panel to get in there lol)
This video saved me $350. The dealer would not give me the code so I could do it myself. I have a snap on tool that would have allowed me to unlock the radio if I had the code but the dealer wouldn't supply me with the code and they said it would cost $350 for them to do it. How sickening is that? Well, thanks to the lovely lady that put this video online I don't need the code anymore. I am so very thankful.

(other than dropping the fuse and having to stick my hand inside the middle console area to find it) lol When I put it back in and started the car it came back on... Yeah I got a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox I did the same thing but I got to change my fuses had to get my car jump start! Thank you for the information greatly appreciate.
Just bought a ‘14 Equinox. When I plugged my phone cord into what I assumed to be the charging port, the radio volume would not turn down, and the radio would shut off. None of the buttons would respond. Turned engine off and back on. The radio and panel was dead. Found your video and pulled the third fuse then put it back in. Everything seems to be working now. Any idea what caused this! Do you know if I can expect it to happen again? Thanks.

I seen both your videos, thanks, but I wasn't sure it was the radio. So saw another video saying to disconnect fuses and sot for a bit, then put them back and it worked. Hope it works for others

You dont have fuse for Info-tainment system because that's the fuse for the rear/behind seat infotainment, which most Equnox's don't have. Was going CRAZY trying to figure out why I was missing this fuse until I found out
im going to try it, i have a 2011 terrain, and my battery was replaced and now i have a black screen and the radio wont come on, gmc is trying to charge me 150.00, and they are not sure if it will work, i need all of the sugestions i can get before i have to pay 150.00 for something that may not work,, so frustrated right now, the screen is grey with 2 lines down the middle and it flickers on and off, so it seems like it wants to come on,, it just needs a push.
