Would love to have witnessed such a moment. The folk who managed to see this. Consider yourself special and lucky. Seeing Arioch do anything live with Funeral Mist will come few and far between. Just like those who seen Triumphator in Belgium.
@@xdeathmetalbassistx Funeral Mist is one-man band. And Arioch is also Marduk's vocalist. Those are the reasons for Funeral Mist to not to play live - because Arioch doesn't want to and doesn't have time
@@xdeathmetalbassistx Yeah. I mean,I really love Marduk, especially stuff with Mortuus, but I would like to hear Funeral Mist live. But I don't think it's gonna happen. But who knows
@@Falxifer95 to be fair, in the same breath he's still considering live shows an option, with slim chances though. he's basically afraid to fail, that's all.
Considering that he's been doing martial arts for years, I don't think he's afraid of being challenged, on the contrary. He just doesn't think that FM's music is suitable for a live setting. Do you think the guys from Abigor or DsO couldn't play their instruments? Most BM doesn't belong on stage anyway. @homelessathome
He doesn't do the 20 sec scream in Steel Inferno (Marduk) neither, but that's clearly because performing live requires more energy. He has to save some air lmao
According to Tore Stjerna, he recorded that with a chronometer at hand, aiming to indeed a long scream. Anyway, very dificult to recreate such deed in a live environment tbh; moreso if you take into account that surely this performance was very spontaneous and out of the blue.
perfection
One of the most epic things I've ever witnessed.
Lucky Norwegians. What would I give to hear Funeral Mist material live...
3:21 Holy shit, Mortuus/Arioch smiling.
It's the Devil himself smiling behind Mortuus face. Mortuus never smiles, he just screams.

Sorry for my lame english but what are the reasons they don't play live?

@@deadrasputin that's sad AF. I can say that I prefer Maranatha over some Marduk albums

@@deadrasputin Mortuus doesn't have the time, too busy with Marduk
I can confirm that this was extraordinary. My neck was never the same.
HOLY SHIT!!!! I would have love to witness this historic event!
Thanks for recording this.
God-level vocals.
Mortuus is the man
Mortuus is a genius
Arioch Rules!
This world needs Funeral Mist once again
And Deiform sooner than anyone could've predicted.
Epic!
soooo fucking awesome
vocals similar to mortuus, and this is what i need for ;-----)
oh wait, its mortuus :vvvv
"Are you serious"
hmm... why "last time ever"?? I always have "something one more time in the future" in my heath
In an interview with Bardo Methodology Mortuus/Arioch said Funeral Mist's music (specifically everything since Salvation) can't be replicated live.

hvar er seli
Kinda disappointed about his scream at around 0:37 here... On the album version his scream is like 3 times longer. Maybe he wasn't in the mood.
If I do recall I think it’s about a minute long or so, but, I’ll take what I can get.

what did he say at 2:43?
