I’m curious to see your thought on the 09 Gold Roger vs 05 signed Luffy. I still think oda signed Luffy has the potential to rocket in 5-6 years if the game survives
@iluvfatgirls even if the game doesn't survive it can still sky rocket because it's a cool thing for a fan or a nostalgia purchase for someone who played the game
Yes roger being that high is why I cut my 1 of in r/p luffy. This should be less than 10 for sure. Purple luffy probably 35 since it's basically a 4 of in anything with purple lol
@@x_Tojii I think it's the better secret and will hold value way better than Roger. Should it go down? Yes Will it stay down? That's a tough one. I think 20s are super cops
investing in expensive cards is not financially advisable, with that being said, the SP versions are usually a one of a kind art exclusive to that set but im not bandai and who am i to say that they wont just decide to reprint a bunch of collector cards. they could very much do so if they want.
I think their value varies mostly on playability. They'll go down when not played and usually a set later. If you want to collect something, you should collect it. Just be conscious of spending. The Greta part of collecting something you love is value doesn't matter
Why would you encourage people to buy cards people will play just to sell them higher? If you want to invest just buy an S&P 500 index fund, what's the point of flipping cardboard?
I mean personally, I’d be comfortable with dropping 5 for cheap SRs that will be seeing more play than dropping 5 in an index fund bc of the potential to skyrocket (or now you’ll have a playset you can use for cheap cheap) It’s all gambling at the end of the day with these lol who knows
@@aarianahsan8226 well the idea is you don't put in 5 expecting 100 in a month you put in 5 every day for years and let it compound as it has for the last 50+. If something you own becomes more sought after and you don't need it, by all means sell it. I just don't agree with buying something knowing it's going to be valued more just to sell when it's a game people play for fun. I watch these market videos so I don't have to shell out 40 for a card just because one deck I don't even play runs it not to figure out formulas to scalp

Oda literally made the art for that card specifically.
It's the coolest thing ever
Roger Is just a bad dad with a gold card
Infinitely love luffy more

Roger feels over priced. Other things seem decent
I bought 2 of each zorojuro recently when they were cheaper. I’m glad I did
Heck yeah

I picked up 3 of the full art 3000 worlds zoro slash alt art event for 7$ each definitely a bargain the prb english one
PrB alts just overall underappreciated atm
I want them to print the set into the ground
But there is a chance they don't
Jack be nimble jack not quick, so he isn’t Vampyre gaming #1 pick

@Numbergoose-yl3jj Hmm yeah you're right! I might just collect a small few SP then of the ones I really like and not go for the whole set. Tyyy!

Agreed. I love one piece and pokemon and collecting them but why buy to flip for like $20 profit when one can just invest in stock market lol
