If he couldn't do that, he didn't have a reason to be safe or unharmed. Think about it; those scars came from somewhere. Hunter couldn't have always had them; everything comes from something. He couldn't have been made with them, because if Belos could choose the features on his Grimwalker, then all of them would look exactly like Caleb. Also the only place he ever takes his mask off is in the throne room. With Belos. No, Hunter didn't get them from a mission. He always wears a mask and the only scars he appears to have are on his face. So? He must have gotten them the only time he ever had his mask off. We did see Belos snip off a bit of Hunters hair in Hunting Palisman. Who's to say that he missed just barely on purpose? What if the blow once hit his face during one of the Emperor's outbursts? Hunter was made to do as he's told. Belos lied to him about literally everything; Wild Magic, the Titan, making sure he thought that no one would ever love him. And then he turned Hunter into his puppet and possessed him, forcing him to kill his first real friend, Flapjack with his own hands. Belos slowly and painfully worked his way into Hunter's mind in too many ways. Even after Hunter managed to run away, he still was afraid. He constantly thought about what terrible things would happen if Belos caught him. He still had him in his thoughts; and then the physical takeover came. Belos disgusts me. He abused so many Golden Guards, but Hunter had to be the worst. Because we know he was the only child of the line. Belos set Hunter up for a life of trauma, and for it he has earned the spot in my rankings(alongside Claude Frollo) as the most disgusting and abusive villain to ever come out of Disney.
