I live in Australia, and like 80% of the world we are totally metric and use kmh, Britain and the US still use imperial. Would be great with reviews like this that you just put kmh figures on the screen. I can vaguely convert those figures, but I'm sure Europeans, Aussies and many others would appreciate some info in kmh. Nice review too!
Just like rear mounted mid-engine cars, the looks and styling starts getting very similar across manufacturers. This is the same here with front-engine GT cars; long bonnets, short boot, etc. There’s only so much you can do with those profiles and layouts before everything starts looking the same
I got a better answer to what happens to the people in the back when you lift the aero piece, nothing. The Roma was always said to be a "2+" not a "2+2" because the seats were never meant for people, just as a shelf for items :)
Funnily enough parked my f type convertible S next to one yesterday … the side profile is pretty much the same. I kept having double takes. Just both ends are “sharp” in the Ferrari Don’t have 611 hp but have plenty, wonder what this has that I don’t … maybe the guys could tell us given it’s 2 to 3 times the price. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good looking car
Car and Driver says that wind deflector/folding seat back works really well. As a back-seat backrest it looks a bit less than comfortable. I like all the numbers that you give but cutting the top off a car is all about passion not numbers. As a topless drivers car this Roma is a peach. An expensive peach. Or as you say, "It's the baby droptop Ferrari that alway should have been." What took Ferrari so long?
James, as always a brilliant 'Car' review. Sorry but this is no more than a bloody expensive [200K+ You are having a laugh!] MX5. Looks like an early Jaguar XK convertible. And yes i take it on the chin i could never ever afford anything deemed 'super' but this doesn't add up in any sense. Apologies to all the Prancing Horse fans.
Why do they still bother with the none back seats at all? Why not dispense with the pretense that anyone will ever sit the and use the space for something useful?
I disagree. Its a very good looking car but what doesn't work in this car is the touch buttons. Only thing i hate about modern Ferraris is the touch and haptic buttons. Also the fact regulations made Ferraris more silent
Is the Roma Spider Ferari's prettiest car of the 21st century? Let us know in the comments below...
What’s the ugliest over priced piece of shit
Ferrari is going to hell
I think it says enough without saying too much, beautifully.
Another great video review as always, thank you James and CAR!
Every single Ferrari who is made, is a beautiful masterpiece.
Simplicity works as car designer ✨️ as many things ✨️
You mentioned the F-Type, this thing has always reminded me of a Ferrari F-Type. Beautiful car, it's the Ferrari I'd buy.
Absolutely the most beautiful especially in a grey. Pure class!
Glad you like it!

Most gorgeous car ever!!
What's this color called? It's beautiful

Stunning!!

Glad you enjoyed the video!
lovely car!
The video needed more camera angles showing the back half and rear end.

How's the backseat compared to the coupe, same or even smaller?
We didn't climb in to find out (apologies), but it shouldn't be much different. So very, very small!
Portofino M nicer..hate haptics!
Great car ,great review , but to many reallys !!!
Really sorry!
Really?!
I really noticed this as well.
Really really really
5mm taller and knocking off 50/50 balance suggests they did not do a very good job
Not as nice as the Aston.
Really?
F type copy
296gts looks better
I hate softtop. Otherwise good design.
I hate hard top
Jaguar and Aston Miles better looking.
Aston yes, but there hasn’t been a good looking jaguar in two decades
@@mokyaffe F Type better looking than that Ferrari.
U drunk
No
wonder how much Ferrari is paying Car Magazine to give it a positive review nothing more then an updated California
Not a good looking car at all.A poor mix of Aston and Jaguar styles
Clueless
It's more a modern take on the Ferrari Daytona convertible.
I disagree. Its a very good looking car but what doesn't work in this car is the touch buttons. Only thing i hate about modern Ferraris is the touch and haptic buttons. Also the fact regulations made Ferraris more silent
Looks like a cheap Fiat
