You can fast travel by relogging server and setting spawnpoint on m
The note is for in an in-game item which can get you $250,000 the heist wont have you going on a treasure hunt in freemode. The heist missions will have you getting documents to vehicles to assasinations in freemode in certain locations i know im late but hope this will help at any point.
