This vid was helpful. Some crunching going on in the front diff of my MF 1165. Trying to see if it's a job I can handle if I have to send it to a shop.

If a guy were to manually spin that main axle shaft going from the rear diff to the front, should the front tires also spin as long as they are off the ground?

Good day Interesting. When you said it sounded like drive shaft, it did make sense. I hope you get more likes on this, it is good. Thanks

This may be a long shot. But I have a 210-4, my 4 wheel drive is currently inop. Unfortunately front axel seems to be the cause. Since only one wheel will rotate when doing it by hand. Any idea where I could find parts for it? I haven’t seemed to have much luck.

What kind of fluid and how much in the rear end?! How do you check if its full. Nobody has any videos on these and this is as close as I could find to the 210.

Hi like your channel I have the same tractor do you have any ideas on how to replace a rear PTO seal I have removed the six nuts from the flange around it but it only comes out about 6mm then stops like it’s coming up against a clip
    Regards Jim New Zealand

Hey Jim, don’t have any experience on the PTO seal but would caution you to get some further info from a dealer. If you pull out it could disconnect some linkage inside causing a larger issue. Good Luck!

How much did they want for the new shaft?

    • @nashsummers8050

I think I found a used shaft around the $400 mark. I had this shaft welded up and reused.
