I grew up in Lagos ............ we were there from 1961 to 1989, and my Dad was CEO of a British Multinational Insurance consortium.
Believe me, visiting as a tourist is totally different from living there.
And we lived the High life ............ uniformed household staff, uniformed chauffer, Company private jet for travel around Nigeria and West Africa , going to , and hosting high profile parties where the guest list included Ambassadors and High commissioners .
Life was fantastic

I am remembering my time in Nigeria. Catching flight was like Catching bus in India. Even I bought airticket in aeroplane. I used to flying to Kano, Portharcourt and Maiduguri quite often. That time Mr Sehu Sahagiri was President. Best of luck and be careful.
That was a very very long time ago, may be in 1970's or 1960's, I wasn't born then
Was also in Lagos for 20 years. Please do visit Victoria Island,Lekki beach, ikoyi , illupeju. Illupeju has the Indian language school. There is third mainland bridge, ikorodu road, apapa dockyard and so much more

We lived at 9 Kuramo Close, Ikoyi. My Dad's office was in the John Holt building on Broad street. My mom taught at Corona School VI.
We frequented Lagos Motor Boat Club, Ikoyi club, Metropolitan Club and Lagos Polo Club.
Lagos was a great city when we were there.
Those days, Tarkwa was the most popular beach. We had a chalet on Lighthouse Beach ............... a few miles up Badagary Creek, on Tin Can Island.
Of course we had our own boat.
back in 1977 /78 I was perhaps the only Indian guy who had a motorcycle ...... a kawasaki 1200.
We friends would meet every evening at the Ikoyi Club

Go to Victoria Island, Lekki, Alaba International Market biggest Market in Africa, Ladipo Market, Ikeja. Lagos is as big as Mumbai. Life is quite good in Lagos. Now i am settled in India else I would have taken you. Surulere and Ilupezu most of the Indian stay there as Indian school is there. Ilupezu and Lekki have very big Indian temples. All the best Bro.

I love your video and your movement from one state to another.. But there's one thing I think I need to correct you about as a Nigerian,you don't need to be thinking in that manner that they will steal your camera,you don't no their aim towards you but you just concluded on your ien just like that. Many Indians and Chinese who have making such videos like yours in Nigeria never thinking just like the way you did. They minght want to greet having a snap with you but your aims and base on what you hear from people that makes you act in that way. When you went to CMS I believed no one embarrasse you despite of that fact that you are in the mix of guys I guess I didn't do you no arm,so pls stop and upgrade yourself from that mentality that someone want to steal your camera.
