Whether he comes back as a returning babyface or a monster heel scorned by this betrayal. Kofi and Woods eventually are gonna regret doing this and will start blaming each other once again, it is inevitable with them.
Big E is dating Mia Yim’s sister and she has literally destroyed Kofi and Woods on twitter and we are all here for it! Outside of the ring is the perfect puzzle piece to this storyline.
I think there is more to it than them turning on E. I actually think it is a way to put the trio back together. I don’t think it is because E is content with not wrestling, I think he is afraid to get physically hurt again and that the man with a PHD in psychology is using reverse psychology on E.

The segment and setup to this is the best writing the WWE has done this year. Nobody saw this coming. The segment drew me in to where towards the end it dawned on me that wait a min....the New Day is turning heel. Up until that point, It felt like I was watching an emotional friendship moment and anything related to wrestling was unimportant. This ending was much better than having X join New Testament or go solo heel. Cheers to Kofi, E and Woods for delivering that segment. I'm interested in the New Day again and I will be booing the hell out of them. I felt so bad for Big E.

E's facial expressions were priceless and both Kofi and Woods were on point as well, that might very well be the best promo either of them has ever cut.

Ten years ago, Xavier & Kofi would have randomly turned, attacked Big E, and on the next show say they don't owe the fans an explanation and just be heels going forward. This was done the right way... as soon as Xavier said "Now?" I could feel everything change. It was a masterful performance, and really hurt to hear some of the stuff they said to him.
I believe it is all part of a storyline, I believe Big E may be medically cleared for a return where the company wants to keep it secret, I see him perhaps making a huge surprise return at Royal Rumble and throws Kofi & Woods over the top rope as payback

Plot twist for after some time goes by, if Big E is Medically clear or even if he isn't, if they want to get the 3 together again they can swerve it again, after some time of the locker room being sympathetic with Big E, other teams guard will be down to him Helping them (The New Day) regain the Titles at some point, and as WWE does long story telling lately they could do something with it and then get Big E just as much heat saying he was in on it the Wole Time... lots of possibilities.

Ringo is the best drummer. He could keep perfect time for a really long time. They had him do a rhythm and the machines broke in the studio and ten plus minutes later everything came online and he was still in time. Also he was already rich, he could of just said, “i’ve done this for 5 minutes they can loop it,” but he just kept going because studio time is about more than yourself so he’s generous as well.
