Why are we pretending like Mason Mount didn't turn Fernandinho into a pretzel last time they played? Like Rodri didn't get abused on the counter in the league game? Starting either of them wouldn't have stopped Chelsea from playing through City, and it certainly wouldn't have helped them score against THAT defence. You think any player could've kept THAT version of Kante from glory?

My god if people don’t start looking up the word pragmatic before they use it I’m going to lose my mind. Pragmatism is a philosophy that suggests that you should do what is practical, what makes sense in a certain context or moment. In football terms, a philosophical manager (which doesn’t make sense in literal terms as pragmatism is a philosophy) is one who always sticks to his guns no matter what. While a pragmatic manager is one who adapts according to the team they’re playing or the players they have available to them. Tuchel is pragmatic to an extent - because he does have a way of playing even though it’s adaptable - but pragmatism is not synonymous with defensive. If you want to say he’s defensive then say it but use words how they’re meant to be used, please.

Champions League is more prestigious than the PL:
1. The World watches UCL Final but the World doesn’t watch the PL like that
2. It’s more difficult to win the UCL than the PL bc of the knockout format (All Big Six clubs have a higher rate of winning the league than the UCL)
3. You’re always in the PL usually but not always in the UCL
4. In the PL, you can rely on other teams mess ups to help you (like Chelsea beating Liverpool gave City the PL in 13/14) but in UCL you do not get to rely on other teams in knockout rounds

Tuchel brought with him an update on Rudiger's and Christensen's software, which turned them into MONSTERS! As for the low block teams, as Saed pointed out rightfully, we need to go, IMO with a different system, 4 at the back, because 3 at the back gives us defensive stability, but perhaps having more attacking threat will give us that edge to break the low block teams down

Need to remember Chelsea stopped Man City from Quadruple. They beat them in Semi final of FA Cup which they could've easily won in the final against Leicester & Chelsea stopped them in the final of the UCL. Other clubs fan base must give us some sort of respect & credit for us doing that to them. Or else We all could've never been able to let it die down if they had won the Quadruple.

The stat was 59/61 games including cl final he had 1 dm on pitch at least. Someone told me that pep in fa cup played 2 dms v Chelsea then 1 dm in prem and then 0 dms in final.
