Omos wants a revenge against Wes Lee or beat him out and join Judgment Day
Balor initially didn't want to face Wes Lee because Wes Lee is a bad Fadther. But Wes Lee's performance vs Omos made Balor realize Wes Lee is a good Fadther
Omos joined judgment day and this was how they announced it
Mjf debut and manages omos thru this loss. Later In the series Mjf betrays him calling him a tall piece of s*** then that sparks off a fued
Let’s just say OMOS is an honorary member of the Judgement Day and Finn took the time during commercial to announce that.

So to people who are confused, they propably gave Finn Balor a rivalry action (or the game randomly generated it) where he confronts Wes Lee after his match. Usually in situations like this the game randomly generates an opponent. It just shows Finn and Wes in the match screen because they are involved in this particular rivalry.
You can do a wake up taunt with chairs in your hand now. An amazing addition I must say
There is a massive wave of nostalgia seeing universe mode actually being held in universe mode for the first time since what, 2k16? at the latest 2k18? This is gonna be fun

I think it switched Balor to Omos because of the rivalry action you chose. I had a similar thing where my first main event was Cody vs Seth and because I chose the staredown action, it switched to damian priest and cody came out at the end
Gore saying “Are you having a laugh!?!” is my new favorite thing to say. Great first episode & am excited for the new series!!

Omos is secretly a member of the judgement day, and has been coaching his good friend Dominik behind the scenes, stepped in on behalf of finn because.. reasons, and he joins the judgement day teaming with Dom to form the greatest team the G&P universe have ever seen: Dom-os
This is going to be the best universe mode yet

One show in and there’s ALREADY chaos…. Yep we’re back to our regularly scheduled shenanigans😂
And so it starts and it's not disappointing. Love this already.
So what happened:
They used a regular video of the entrance for Judgement Day in Exhibition and then did a rivalry match between Balor and Wes with entrances deactivated. Since it was a rivalry the AI decided to go for a "confrontation after Match" angle between Finn and Wes and therefore randomly changed the opponent for Wes into Omos. That's how the new rivalry system works. If you're not careful with rivalry scene booking it's a random fiesta 😅
They should've made it so you can choose the replacement if you're going for such an angle
Do you know how he selected a GM, make Elias sing, did backstage cutscene? I don't see an option for that

Honestly, instead of being paid off, I'm more liable to believe Omos approached Balor on the ring while we were watching the backstage stuff and just told Finn "this is my title opportunity now. Leave." to which Balor said "fair okay, good luck mate." and left

Ok to start things off, for the first raw vid of 2k23 in the most hilarious way, Elias becomes gm, La knight hits a low blow, KO wins by DQ, first simulation in 2k23, finn balor vs wes lee, but instead of fighting finn wes lee is fighting omos, wes lee uses the force, wes lee pins omos in a weird and strange way, omos loses to a superkick and after that finn comes out staring down wes, what a way to start off universe mode 😂 2k you got some explaining to do on that one

My theory how to swerve the main event chaos:
Omos was paid by Judgement Day to take out Wes Lee. Couldn't do it. Balor vs Lee rematch on the next Raw. Long-term, though, it's a storyline between Judgement Day and The Hurt Business (Lee, MVP, Omos and Lashley).

If you forgot Rivalries in Universe Mode usually want the rivals to fight every week so it might be a chore to change that every week for people you have other plans for.

G&P WWE 2K23 Universe Mode is officially underway baby!
So we have La Knight with the disrespect to Kevin Owens in the opener of the show but Kevin Owens turns it around. Rhea winning the triple threat, Carmalo and Elias forming some kind of Tag Team and finally Omas paying Finn to take on Wes Lee in what seemed to be a dominate fashion by Omas but Wes Lee with the speed of light manages to get the win over Omas as Finn doesn't seem too proud about it. What will happen on the next episode of Raw?
I can't wait till next week to find out why Finn let Omos sub-in for him

THIS WEEK, ON RAW:
The mysterious General Manager rears his head, revealing himself to be none other than The Drifter! Elias takes the reins of the red brand despite having no managerial experience whatsoever. Will the talent under his thumb thrive, or fall victim to the on-brand buffoonery of the guitarist? Time will tell, though many, MANY signs point to the latter.
LA Knight blows - or rather, LOW blows - his shot at a United States Championship opportunity at Backlash. The Megastar’s moronic move ended up punching Kevin Owens’ ticket to the pay-per-view (as well as his balls). Will K.O. once again emerge as the Face of America come Backlash?
Rhea Ripley triumphed in a triple threat match (probably). The Nightmare looks to extend her wake of destruction in the following weeks after taking down Zoey Stark and Shotzi (last name not found).
Carmelo Hayes immediately proves that Elias is unfit to be GM by schmoozing his way into a Universal Championship opportunity. Meanwhile, Bron Breakker and Dolph Ziggler did a thing. The future of Raw is… confusing?
Wes Lee manages to defeat Finn Balor in his TRUE demon form. The mighty Omos Balor was no match for the former, non-problematic MSK member. Lee will take on Owens in their United States Championship bout at Backlash to determine the titleholder… or does he???
But what spectacles and stories await on the red brand?? Find out next week on Raw!
