We desperately need an app to release alongside the full game or slightly beforehand so folks who don’t have a lot of time at home can create decks and learn which units are best to counter each other as well as experiment with builds.
I wish there was a page that explained all of the resources. Im totally new to military equipment and have no clue what the different vehicles are good and bad at. I know theres a page that shows stats, but id like to see something a bit more in depth in terms of a description within the game.
Yes I was pondering this, not sure if they will add much more in game sadly. I will have a think about if I can throw a video together sort of trying to explain the basics of weapon types for new people. It just becomes how much "detail" to add. I'm no massive military buff myself mind you!
@Bandanner no worries! Really a basic passthrough would be best for newbies like myself to understand and best for you so you don't have to make a hour long video. For example, just knowing if a certain tank is good for up close fights against other tanks and then if a different tank is better to stay behind and attack aircraft would be valuable info. And also if a type of infantry is good at attacking tanks then maybe touch on good placements for them on the map to be effective...things like that. This is totally a new genre for me, and basic concepts that would be intuitive for you is really what I'd be after, and I'm sure others as well. But don't feel obligated of course. If you don't want to do those, don't do it haha I'll figure it out eventually 🤣
@Bandanner cool thanks! And my advice just start small. Have a short(ish) video discussing each group. 1 video for infantry, 1 video for tanks, 1 video for aircraft etc. You don't have to do it that way, but IMO could be better for the viewer/youtube algorithm if someone is doing a search. Thanks in advance, and already dropped a sub🫡
While I do like Russia and the USA as factions in games, they both got nice looking equipment and vehicles and they're big names. I do kind of hope we see new countries not normally used in games in the modern era as well as factions later on in updates or well made DLC. Modern China is a country I want to see and India, Turkey and maybe even Brazil. And of course the Normally appearing DLC factions of course too like: France, UK, Germany, Poland etc.
The first DLC/Expansion will be China, well specifically the PLA. You will likely see a focus on the main nations like UK/France etc because these are popular with the player base of these types of games and have enough units to fill out a faction that are unique (The main reason for example the USA & Russia were chosen at the start). I suspect assuming the game is popular and the first DLC sells well we will see some kind of Euro Corps added or the UK next.
@@Bandanner They confirmed the Chinese then? if so that likely means we are going to maybe see a Pacific focused DLC then, Maybe a second Korean war or Taiwan invasion scenario? Unless they by the rarely used route of Chinese troops being sent through Russia to assist them in the European front. You never see that do you in any works of fiction?
@@RomanHistoryFan476AD It was confirmed quite some time ago yeah. And unsure, plan could be anything. They could even go for Tom Clancy's story where there was a war between China and Russia.
@@Bandanner A three way war, that would be interesting, reminds me of Battlefield 2 and it's expansions. But I wager more than likely we are looking at a typical: NATO vs Russia and China with Allies war.
@@cadet3902 😭 well that’s going to be amazing tho, it’s crazy of what they have done already for this and when it fully comes out I bet you this game will be the best RTS game ever
they really need to make copying decks more user friendly, exporting a data file is a big nono these days (and a major security risk for everyone). Other than that, I just want to stress one point that you made: Try to have fun. Its a new game, its still trying to find its balance. Hakuna your tatas and try stuff. Once you get into it, you too will be able to para drop troops behind enemy lines, or even better - intercept the transport and laugh at the fools botched start :D take your time, you dont need to rush anything Just have fun, no need to be a wargame salty schmo that throws a tantrum at everything..
one more thing! You want to read the details about the weapon systems that you put into your deck (second button on the right top corner, just under the pin button) Some changes are significant - for example, you can change the Strela 10M platform into a Sosna platform that has not just longer range and higher damage, but also can intercept ballistic missiles. Same goes for various weapon loadouts for mlrs. Some tanks can get ECM or Active armor protection systems, you want to pay attention to this as well It might sound confusing and overwhelming at first glance, dont be afraid - its still pretty basic and you will learn the details soon enough

Sadly I think unless someone in the community makes that, I doubt the devs will have time.
@@Bandanner that is sad 😢
I hope this skirmish mode will also be available in single player mode.
Russians not only could ride bears, sometimes they can make good games.
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!

Ty for the Help
No problem, glad its helpful :)
thanks for video..
Have you tried BA sun?
@@Bandanner yes
Is there anyway to drop the BMDs and BTR-Ds also with the infantry ? When I try to do something like that it only drops the infantry?
Planned for the full game, current UI doesn't support it, full release will.

That's so basic even a non computer user will understand.
That is exactly the point. ;)
I noticed a lot of people trying this who have NEVER tried anything like it before.
